Our first child delivered by Dr Lingham and his phenomenal support Team. Super efficient and has made the entire process calming, caring and informative. On 17 September 2023 I rushed my 16yr old daughter to the ER with a temperature of 41°. She was dilarious and was passing out. She had returned from a school camp with a fungal infection. Firstly there is a reception, but then they turn you to the nurses station, which has a desk and a chair pushed into a corner. The nurses were on a slow strike. They were friendly, but as a parent in a frantic state with a sick child, it seems like they were just there to do their jobs with no extra care. The Dr was also friendly and calm, but .... They put my daughter on a drip and got the lab out to come and draw blood. They stabalised my daughter. The Dr then said she would need to be admitted. I went to reception (she was just finishing off her private phone call on her cellphone, so I had to wait a bit) she then sat back in her chair and said, sorry we don't except your Medical aid. I went back to the ER and told the Dr, he then said, I should take my daughter and go to Glynwood. So i paid R2500 at the Lakeview Hospital and was off to the Glynwood. When we got to Glynwood, they said my daughter has to go to triage. The medical aid then refused to give authorisation, because there is nothing wrong with my daughters vitals. I then told them she had just been stabalised at the Lakeview and the Dr sent us here for admission. They asked for another R2700 and they would have to draw blood again. Eventually after long discussions and tears, the Glynwood told us to head back to The Lakeview Hospital, because they must get the results for the blood tests and the Dr should from there, discuss the plan of action. Still driving around after 00h00 with my daughter in the car from hospital to hospital, we finally got the blood results and the Dr just said, you can go home. I mean, from being sent to another hospital(driving ourselves)because she needs to be admitted, to its fine, you can go home. So where does the problem lie? Was it Lakeview Hospital not being able and capable of handling Emergency situations or Glynwood Hospital wanting to restart the whole process or the medical aid not wanting to cover anything now? Now I have to battle to get an invoice from lakeview to claim back from my medical aid. 2 weeks now and I had an answer this morning of, "our systems don't do invoices, only estimates and statements! So now I am losing my money, because you also can't give me an invoice. ***********! Unprofessional!
In March 2022 Vodacom emailed me to say that I qualify for a downgrade. I signed the papers and I continued to apply for a smart watch. I signed and returned all documents. By end of April 2022, I still have not received my watch. Now, 3 months later I am being billed for the 3rd time for a watch I dont have. When I emailed the Vodacom representative that helped me, she politely said I cannot apply for a watch without another phone. When I went in to a Vodacom shop, they said you can do it. So, I reverse the downgrade as suggested by Vodacom for my refund. Now, they put me back to my previous package, corrected the invoice by removing the watch, but still no refund! So if I want to downgrade back to the package Vodacom offered, I have to pay. I want my money Vodacom!!!
My husband's Model T bucket hotrod was collected from the mechanic where we left the car. They never phoned us or notified us that the car was there. We made contact with them when we wanted to collect the vehicle on 14 Jan 2022. They are charging us R550 per day for storage fees and took the crook mechanic's word that we owed him money. Now we are sitting with a invoice of over a R120 000 and they do not want to release the car
IPC Motorsport, Unit 5, Anderbolt, Boksburg Our Hotrod was given to him on 8 Oct 2020 to be repaired. Long story short, Mr Vincent Gouws, owner of IPC Motorsport, "pawned" my husbands hotrod to We Store Cars. He told them we owe him money. We have not been sent or phoned for any outstanding monies. Vincent Gouws says We store Cars paid him R6000, We Store cars told us they paid him R20 000. We received IPC Motorsports "alleged" invoice that we owe him of R54 650 printed on the same day he gave the vehicle to We Store Cars to take away. His invoice clearly states clients have 5 days to pay and then storage fees will be charged at R150 p/day, he charged us R200 from the day he took the car!!! We now have an invoice of R120 450 and still going from We store cars. They have never been in contact with us to tell us that our vehicle is there. Yet they are charging us R550 per day!!! Vincent Gouws has our trialer that he bought October 2020 for R16 000 that he has not paid a cent for yet he has been making money with it!
