On 1 June 2018, my vehicle - Toyota Avanza - broke down while on my way to Mokopane, Limpopo from Diepsloot, Johannesburg. I contacted Toyota South Africa and they authorised me to get my car towed to a nearest dealer. The nearest Toyota dealer was NTT Toyota Mokopane. On Sunday 3 June I returned to home and work in Johannesburg. I contacted NTT on Monday 4 June 2018 to follow up on the vehicle. They then said they will look into it and give me feedback. While waiting for feedback, I then went back and forth with Toyota South Africa on my extended warranty for them to assist with covered repairs. While doing so I kept NTT informed. However, I discovered sometime in August 2018 from NTT that my vehicle was not longer with them. NTT had moved my vehicle to We Store Cars somewhere in Selby, Johannesburg. I then contacted We Store Cars who in turn sent me the wrong vehicle details. I then contacted NTT, who then gave me the contact details of the person I should speak to at We Store Cars. That person requested me to send her the details of the vehicle and I did so. Then, she sent me notification that they have obtained lien on my vehicle and that their storage costs R550 per day. At that stage, the amount I had to pay to release the vehicle was exorbitant and unaffordable as I had not budgeted for it. We Store Cars have since kept quiet. But, I am receiving traffic infringement fines for the vehicle I neither possess nor drive. It may appear that they are using my vehicle or they have sold it or something else. The worst thing is that I am continuing to pay the car's lisence disc renewals for the vehicle I am not driving. The latter is a clear case ******** enrichment of either We Store Cars or the person who is driving the vehicle or of both. I need help from whoever may help, please by either returning my vehicle and/or reimbur*****t of the lisence disc renewal fees I have spent since 2019. Their given contact numbers are 010 534 6487 or 084 726 1234.

We store cars are running a **** with mechanics. I sent my car to my mechanic, and whilst i was waiting for diagnostics and a quotation, they sent my car to we store cars in Selby, Jhb without my knowledge. They sold my car claiming i owed them money for storage. ***!!!

We Store Cars collected my car from this equally shady mechanic and they sold it. On top of that, they claimed i owed the over R100k in storage costs. As far as a know, my car was at the mechanic waiting to be diagnosed and quoted. The guy gave me the run around with that, until the car disappeared to We Store Cars. Just go on their website, you'll see, They're running a scam.

My husband's Model T bucket hotrod was collected from the mechanic where we left the car. They never phoned us or notified us that the car was there. We made contact with them when we wanted to collect the vehicle on 14 Jan 2022. They are charging us R550 per day for storage fees and took the crook mechanic's word that we owed him money. Now we are sitting with a invoice of over a R120 000 and they do not want to release the car
