The most uneducated and useless bunch I have ever had contact with. Their Doctor client used the wrong email to send my bill and I was unaware, when I called the doctor they eventually sent it. I paid it in full. I suddenly get demands form multiple emails, and threats of defaults against my name. I called them and they said that's not their fault and I'm liable for their fees and that there is nothing they can do to avoid the default. I hope they look forward to the legal action I am asking against them I know I am.
I'd just like to commend a wonderful security guard called Phatsiwe who works at the door of H&M in the V&A Waterfront. I watched her greet every single person who came in and bid farewell to every single person who walked out while I waited to go into the store. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does was infectious. Also having lived in Val De Vie estate where they guard, I have only ever had excellent experience with them. They seem to always hire such friendly an enthusiastic staff.
I have been a loyal FNB customer for 13 years and have never had a complaint. Until now... I sell property for a living and decided to apply for a loan in case the Deeds office was further delayed and my property sales transactions were delayed, meaning i'd be financially secure until then, so when transfer goes through on my sales, I'd able to pay back the loan in full immediately and not need the safety back up plan. I applied online and my application was declined. I then asked my private banker to please assist me and also called the loans department. Precious in the loans department was not very friendly or helpful telling me I can only re-apply in 30 days time and my private banker clearly had zero benefit to helping me with this having to use the same channels as I have to. Quite an expensive card to have for practically no additional benefits. I then called Nedbank to try and get a loan who were extremely helpful and efficient. However he told me after my loan application was denied that each time a loan is denied you get a negative score on your credit score!! How on earth am I supposed to know that? I find that disgusting to say the least. Banking is not my industry, it's yours. I have now applied twice and now have two negative scores on my profile all because a bank doesn't have the decency to actually tell you that before you apply. What's worse is I have apparently been denied due to 'affordability' and that is absolute nonsense. I earn commissions and a regular salary and have high tax returns and and additional funds from previous employers still coming in. I have friends who earn a quarter of what I do and they have been approved for loans, revolving loans and overdrafts. Is this really how other clients are being treated during such uncertain times? I'd appreciate someone with a little more authority to contact me and help me please.
I must say I’m quite unhappy with my service at Dentalwize Durbanville. A few weeks ago I booked a teeth clean for my fiancé and I. The next minute we’re both having an in depth check up with a X rays etc and being told we need to book follow up appointments to have fillings done. Still waiting for the actual appointment we had booked with the hygienist, we got rushed in for a quick brush (there was no flossing done and not even a sip of mouth wash to rinse! For R900 each?)not to mention the consultation with the dentist we paid for on top of that but didn’t even book. The hygienist noticed my bottom tooth had just been chipped and told me it was probably in my appointment a few minutes before her with Dr Viljoen. She told me just to call in and ask the dentist to fix it, no charge of course. Once I got into my car a huge piece of my top tooth filling also (that had been done that same day) fell out! I had to take another day off work and returned again to have my top and bottom teeth repaired. The dentist argued with me telling me she “marked the paper” on the bottom tooth the first time I came. Seriously? My bottom teeth were fine before I came in. She could have easily marked that right before I got there and to be honest, I am horrified at this. I felt rushed, extremely uncomfortable and as if I was “in trouble” the whole time sitting in that chair. That is not how you get repeat business or recommendations. My quick “free of charge” repair came to almost R900 and AGAIN I sat there with my bottom tooth looking ridiculous, and the cherry on the cake? it just broke again:| I've spent almost R4000 with them and I sit with badly done job and no customer service to assist me. Their reply to me was a generic "sorry for your experience, regards." - I find that disgusting. I have since emailed them again......I await a reply In the meantime Dentalwize, Please "wize up" and deal with patients correctly.
