I have made an online shopping in the 24th if September tilk today 6 October u have not received my parcel. The courier driver was hijacked and they are not communicating with me. The other sender's refunded me but XD21 says they did not hear any feedback from the courier and I'm frustrated because I needed those items long time ago. Now they are not even answering my texts
MY KIDS AND I WERE REFERRED BY MY DOCTOR FOR COVID-19 TESTING ON 02/01/2020 AT AROUND 9AM SINCE MY HUSBAND TESTED POSITIVE. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WILL NOT TEST US AND WE MUST WAIT FOR SYMPTOMS. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT WE DO HAVE MINOR FLU SYMPTOMS AND OUR DOCTOR GAVE US A NOTE TO COME FOR TESTING, THE LADY THEN HARRASED ME WHILE I EXPLAINING IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC AND TOLD US TO GO AWAY BECAUSE MY HUSBAND TESTED POSITIVE. I THEN DECIDED TO CALL MY DOCTOR ASKING WHAT I SHOULD DO. MY DOCTOR PHONED AMPATH MANAGEMENT AND THEY TOLD MY DOCTOR THAT HE SHOULD TELL US TO COME BACK FOR THE TEST. WE THEN WENT BACK AND EXPLAINED THAT WE HAVE BEEN IN THE QUE AND WERE SENT AWAY AND WE CANNOT QUE AGAIN. THE LADY AGAIN HARRASED US AND SAID SHE MUST FINISH ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE LONG QUE THAT I WAS QUEUING AT FIRST AND MUST GO AT THE BACK OF QUE AGAIN WITH MY LITTLE KIDS BECAUSE I WENT AWAY. I EXPLAINED THAT I WAS SENT AWAY AND WENT TO CALL MY DOCTOR, BUT THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED. AFTER A LONG WAIT I DECIDED THAT I DON'T WANT TO ASSOCIATE MYSELF WITH THE ARROGANT STAFF AT AMPATH NELSPRUIT MEDICLINIC.
I am a gems member since 2013 and I went to gems nelspruit walk in centre to ask for an application form for my sister who was critically ill and was in hospital. I met a lady named Jacqueline Sibanda. I told her that I'm requesting an application form for my sister who couldn't come to gems herself. She had a very bad attitude asking what was wrong with her. I told her that she was diagnosed with meningitis and is very ill. The lady at Gems first told me that it's impossible to her to give me those forms cause the person in question is not present. I then begged her because my sister was in hospital. I went the knowing that since my sister is a first time member she does not have a waiting period and that her benefits would be backdated is she pays double premiums. She gave me forms for my sister to fill and told me that I should submit straight to her not anyone else, I thought she would especially with the waiting period. When I returned with the forms that my sister had filled, she told me that my sister will die and that meningitis goes with HIV and that there's nothing she can do but to load the application on the system and said my sister must wait for the next month to get her benefits,. I later found out from one of her colleagues and a consultant that we could've paid double premiums for the benefits to be backdated as this was an emergency but Jacqueline did not do that instead she told me that my sister will die.
I joined gems for the first time on 8 October 2018 without being a member to a medical aid before as I was told that new main members have no waiting period. But after filling out the forms I was told that it will only start on 1 November 2018. All Gems online documents clearly states that there is no waiting period for new main members.
