Unfortunately not a good experience. A year has passed since the start of a 3 week project. Not one payment has been missed on our side. To date there remains the following issues: Fitted custom kitchen cupboards has what appears to be second hand materials and scratches. Draws and cupboards that do not close. - This fault has been acknowledged by the company, but not remedied Quartz counter tops that do not fit and are the incorrect size - This fault has been acknowledged by the company, but not remedied Fitted door that cracked after a few months - This fault has been acknowledged by the company and they promised to replace it but have not. Tiles that are not laid properly and grout that is crumbling. Bathroom that has been redone 3 times and is still not right. Electrical issues that have not been addressed even though COC was issued. Rhinolited ceiling that is cracking. Paving that was laid but is now covered in algae making it slippery. Damaged paving in front and back of unit. Sliding door that was damaged and not repaired. they sent an Independent Auditor who basically agreed that the faults were there on most of the issues, but to date a copy of that report has not been made available to us for some reason despite us requesting it from the Independent Auditor. Overall a very bad experience.

After 1 year of waiting for a 3 week project to be completed we are now looking at legal action. Poor workmanship, inferior workmanship and materials have left us very disappointed with Melita Konjar and worknviro. Despite paying a deposit to reserve 'highly qualified and experienced artisans' we were given people who barely knew what they were doing and we now live with the consequences. Despite numerous promises we have now been threatened with a defamation lawsuit. This in itself is ironic after she appointed an 'independent experienced auditor' to come and examine her workmanship. When he agreed with us on most points she stormed out after verbally abusing my wife and then told us she had instructed her contractors not to speak to us. By some stray chance this included her 'independent experienced auditor' who to date has not given us his independent report. Short list of problems: second hand materials used in the fitting of the kitchen 'tailor made' cabinets, wrong size quartz counter tops, redoing our bathroom 3 times to be left in a mess still, rhinolited roof that is cracking, new doors that cracked and warped, inferior grout used in the tiling of the house to mention a few issues. The final straw was stripping our bathroom for the third time and then the day before she was to return to fix it demanded money - that was not due to her - or she wasn't returning to fix the mess. Left with the choice of a stripped useless bathroom or succumbing to her 'demands' shamefully we paid. Please do not use worknviro or Melita Konjar unless you have tons of patience and very deep pockets and you want a second rate job done. This of course is my opinion and I just happen however to have several independent reports myself proving that these issues are real. We have followed up with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) - Ref: 202506-0164353 but they have to date refused to respond.
Please do not deal with this company/person. Terrible work and very shabby workmanship. Is fantastic until first payment is made and then she disappears for long periods, never sticks to a schedule. Uses unqualified people after insisting on deposits to ensure that the best 'qualified are booked for your project. Charges for work and then does not do it. Tells you that she has misquoted and just adds extra costs ion that she left out form the original quote. Just be careful once you are hooked financially with the first payment you keep hoping it will improve but it never does. After trying several times for mediation from her pastor and being refused this opportunity I am now looking at legal avenues as my last resort. Our landlord purchased a gas stove for us in December 2022 from Rochester - part of Joshua Doore. The very first day we used it we noticed that the oven had "bubbles" on the walls. We reported it immediately to the rental agent who notified Rochester of the problem. We waited patiently until January as it was made clear nothing could be done as it was Xmas time. We called the Defy contact who was meant to come out and he did not even know who we were. He finally came out 2023-01-17. He examined the stove and said it would have to be replaced. I said fine go ahead. By the 7th of February we tried calling again and got no response. Then someone called and said they wanted to come and inspect the stove. By this time 2 plates were faulty as well. We told them it had been inspected by Willie from Defy and he said he had told us it would be replaced. they apparently reported back we had refused to let them in or something which is totally untrue. Byt then we had had enough so we called JD Group Help line - "Dear Customer. Your Rochester complaint # 9000290588 has been assigned to the relevant team to action. Kind Regards Customer Care 0861717273" After no contact we called them and asked what was happening and suggested we would even upgrade the stove and pay in the difference. They said their sales team would contact us. Needless to say they did not. It was then handed on to Rikhail Jaganath <rikhail.jaganath@jdg.co.za> who assured us he was processing a refund which we had demanded because we wanted noting to do with this type of company anymore. Now here site 2023-04-05 and guess what? Still nothing.. all we have is a broken stove that was paid for. Please never ever deal with this completely ************ dishonest company, you will only live to regret it.
My website was blocked because I was using to much of the servers resources. This was done without contacting me. When I phoned in I was told that the only way to overcome the problem was to take a dedicated server. I did so after consulting with the Afrihost staff member called Tanner. On his advice, he talked me through the process of upgrading and selecting the package he told me was right for me. I upgraded and found the following day that the problem was even worse than before. Once again I contacted Afrihost only to be informed the package that was suggested to me was completely inadequate and that I should take another package that was almost 10 times more expensive than my original package. Once again on their advice I upgraded. I was then charged for the first package which I found odd because they told me what to get. I sent an email explaining the situation and the reply I just received basically says I am not telling the truth they never advised me so I basically have to pay for the full month for the server they advised me to get. In other words I am a liar. When I responded to this outrageous statement I was basically told they are sorry I feel that way but its just too bad. I am now looking for an alternative Service Provider with a very very bad feeling towards Afrihost for this unbelievably terrible service.
After their staff got aggressive with my wife and refused to leave the premises when asked to do so, we decided to cancel. Subsequently we found that a large amount of food was missing from the deep freeze and that our toiletries cupboard had been thoroughly depleted as well. As only my wife and I live in the unit it could not possible be anyone else. When I tried to contact them and complain I was told that the person who took the complaints did not take phone calls -- which I found to very strange but later realised why . I left a message hoping to once again resolve the issue, but that was over 4 weeks ago. I would just like to warn people about using this company, unless you like being verbally abused and robbed by its employees.
