I applied for a loan on 28.12.2021, my documents were sent for verification. The next day I received an sms to say that my documents have been verified and I can continue with the application. When I went online to check I discovered that my income was captured incorrectly. I did not go through with it and phoned the call centre. Once she checked my bank statements she also confirmed that the salary captured was incorrect. I asked her if they cannot change it on their side. She informed me that they could not. I must delete the application and resubmit. When I deleted the application and tried to apply again I was told that I do not have any monies available to me. I called the call centre again and another lady told me that there is nothing they can do I must send an email to info@capfin.co.za, I also requested that her team leader contact me. To date I have not received a response to my email, however the team leader did contact me on the 30.12.2021 after 16:30 to say that there was a drop in salary thats why there is no funds available. She did tell me to send my bank statements through and they can re look at it. I sent through my bank statements on the same day. To date my salary has not been updated on the system and I have been phoning from Friday til today and still have not received any joy. The lady I spoke to this morning said it was escalated to the legal dept yesterday and I must wait until I get a response from them. This is very disappointing as I am a loyal customer and have a medical issue which i need cash for urgently. I am being penalised for incompetence from you back office.

I am very disappointed as my loan was approved and I am still waiting for the funds. These loans are supposed to quick and easy, however we have to wait for cash then what is the point. When questioned we are given excuses and otherwise ignored. If they do not have the funds why do they approve loans and give people hope.
It is sad to say that they are approving loans but cannot sort out payments. I was approved on 04.11.2020 and to date I have not received any funds. Everyday I am getting the same response when I call in that they are having issues and their finance dept will give them further feedback. Why did they approve the loan if they cannot deliver.
I went into arrears with my Mr Price account this year. I was handed over to ACS and subsequently set up a debit order of R250 a month. I haven't checked previously but yesterday when I checked online I saw that my balance as at 07/2018 was R434.00, my account was still debited in August/September/October. I requested a statement from Mr Price, however was told that they could not send to me as I was handed over and I must contact ACS. When I called them the lady insisted I still had a final d/o of R119 to pay. Her excuse was that they charge interest in arrears which didnt make sense to me and when I called her out on this and requested a statement she put me in hold and when she came back on the line - tells me (as if she is doing me a big favor) that they have waived the final amount and that my account is now free, however I can call back next month for a paid up letter as it was on d/o. When I asked for a statement again, she became flustered and tells me she cant give me a statement as she has closed my account when she wrote off the final payment. when I insisted I require a statement to see my payments she then tells me that my account has been closed by the store and she cannot give me a statement.When I kept insisting I require a statement she said she will put me through to her manager - however I'm not sure what she did because there was only dead air. I waited for a few minutes and cut the call as I was at work. This behavior is ridiculous and leads me to believe that something untoward has occurred.
