No accountability from Vickus the owner. His team damaged the paintwork on my car and all Vickus has to say is that my cars paintwork is faulty, but he takes no accountability for the fact that the paintwork was in order when the car got him. I bought my car brand new 12 years ago and VW put a special coating on the car so that the paint does not fade or damage from the sun, sea water spray or rain etc. So I know there is nothing wrong with my cars paintwork and the car has never been re sprayed since I bought it. He literally swore at my husband and I have video footage to prove it. I would not recommend his business at all.
If you are in the job market, then HR Talent Partner SA is definitely the agency to go with. Marlize van Wyk is an absolute super star at sourcing suitable employment. She takes special interest and care in making sure that you are the right fit for the prospective employer and visa versa. Her sense of urgency and outstanding communication throughout the recruitment process is paramount. Not only does she source suitable employment, but she gives you life saving tips on how to conduct yourself in an interview and that for me personally was such a crucial tool that we often take for granted and which led to my success in landing a job very recently. What makes her even more remarkable is the fact that she sends you reminders and wishes you well on the day and boosts your confidence. Marlize makes you feel sure of yourself and like an absolute winner from start to finish. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate her an absolute 10, with an additional 5 stars for exceptional effort. Thank you Marlize. From a sincerely grateful René York-Truter
I am livid. As a Director of a company, the last thing I have time to put up with is irate staff at a company. I had the displeasure of speaking a woman with the name Chantal, who I was told is the one dealing with pricing and also to Cheryl Campbell, who assisted with my invoices. Both ladies gave me attitude upon my querying matters which was a concern to me. I was later advised that the error was on my side regarding the website prices and how I perceived it and I apologized for the oversight on my part. But then I was told by Chantal that I was shouting at her and being rude, when in fact I was not rude or shouting, but merely stern in my approach and I actually told her that I am not her friend and that I do not appreciate being spoken to as though I were. The service at Vic Bay has been very unsavory of late. When you get to the collections counter and give your company name and ask for your order, then it's always a long wait or they never know who I am referring to, or they can't find my order etc. Time wasting is what Vic Bay's staff does best and not their time, but that of the client. Customer service has really scaled down so much in this country that it's unbelievable. Staff at Vic Bay think that they are doing you, the customer a favour when they assist you and not their the job which they were appointed to do. The fact that those 2 staff members tried to justify their attitudes to begin with is what really ruffles my feathers. If my tone today was me shouting, then I wonder what Chantal will think of my tone when I am really shouting and angry. My girl, if you cannot handle the pressure of this industry then perhaps you should be seeking other employment where clients treat you like you are the bees knees. Customer service is really lacking at Vic Bay.
I got a call from Max Law in last week and they advised that they would be able to help clear my name with a once off fee of only R550. I was sure to ask them if it was just a once off fee and they said yes. All they did for my R550 rand was pull a credit report. I could have done that myself for only R45. Then they contacted me again to say that they would proceed to negotiate with my creditors to reduce my instalments and ask them to remove my name from the credit bereaux so that I can qualify for a loan or home loan in future. I again asked them if this was included in my R550 and they said yes. I also asked them if any other fees would be deducted off my account and they said no. Needless to say, not only did they deduct the R550 from my account, but I get two sms's this afternoon, one stating that Max Law will be doing a deduction of R500 on the 23rd of November for negotiations and then a R550 on the 24th of December for negotiations. When I called them they suddenly had issues with their system and couldn't pull my report with the PO number which I furnished them with. I phoned again as asked to speak to a supervisor. When I asked the supervisor why they would scam people into thinking that the payment was once off, he raised his voice at me quite aggressively and said that they will cancel my "contract" with them immediately and then he hung up. Max Law is shady in their dealings and they prey on desperate people who are eager to get out of debt. I am thoroughly nauseated by the fact that this establishment exists to simply rip people off. Beware of Max Law people. Talk about a wolf in sheep's clothing.
