I contacted consumer council in Durban complaining about Defy Durban about my faulty washing machine. I demanded my refund and compensation for my inconvenience from the bad traumatic experience I have received from Defy. At Consumer I dealt with Nolwazi and Sifiso Ngubo. Nolwazi was assisting on escalating the issue but Sifiso dealt with my query. Sifiso dealt with this issue in a very shady and unprofessional manner. Firstly he phoned me and asked me if Defy has refunded me, raising my hopes up as if I'm going to be refunded, till today I have not been refunded and I never heard from Sisfiso till today from more than 6 months ago. All of a sudden Nolwazi informed me that she has escalated the matter to her superiors. I never heard from non of those superiors from the council. BP GARAGE car wash in Northcoast road DBN. The Indian old man who is the Manager is extremely rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. I brought my car in for a wash, and not knowing that they don't take cards for payment, the Manager asked me to leave my car and walk a kilometre to draw cash since the garage does not even have an atm! I refused to walk I said they must finish my car, I will leave my ID and go draw the cash! The manager refused, asked them to stop washing the car because i have no money!!!!! I felt very humiliated and drove off with a car full of washing gel!!! The manager could not go an extra mile for the customer!! Pathetic service and disgusting

About 2 months ago I filled the suggestion card complaining about the service! My complaint was about the cleaners cleaning the bathrooms while we are taking showers and they are very arrogant as if we are irritating them by taking showers while they clean, I addressed the issue with one of the staff by the name of Sihle who was very rude and unprofessional and was not willing to help. A gentleman by the name of Zakhele who was rather friendly asked to fill the suggestion card and assured me that the management will come back to me within 48 hours. Up till today I have not heard from the management. Last night I visited Kloof Branch again. After I have finished working out at 19:40 I asked for a manager from the same Guy by the name of Sihle, I was shocked when he told me that he was a manager. I couldn't understand why a manager would act in that manner in front of staff! He was extremely rude last night and started arguing with me trying to prove that he is right instead of apologising from my experience! I said to him let me rather go because I dont want to be rude and aggressive like he is. He said I must go using aggressive gestures All in all I find this service very pathetic! I need feedback of corrective action ASAP
