Eugene's Cabinets did an amazing job on my new kitchen cabinets, far exceeding my expectations. I will be using them for future projects, and would confidently recommend them to anyone requiring cabinet work.
My wife and I have been to Die Dorpshuis Restaurant on a few occasions now, and the food and service has been outstanding. The decor and ambience also make for a memorable experience. The menu is a little limited, however what they do offer is outstanding. Well worth a visit!
I recently had to a have rear-view mirror replaced on my Jeep. Fanies Bakwerke sourced the spares and installed the mirror in record time. Their communication was spot-on every step of the way. Big thanks to Fanies Bakwerke in Oudtshoorn!
I was searching for a semi-industrial spray-extraction cleaner. I phone a few companies that stocked these machines, however, none of these companies could provide the information on the machines that I needed. I finally phoned Cleaning Clinic, and provided all of the answers to all of my questions in a blink. I placed my order for the machine and the cleaning chemicals, and had my waybill by lunchtime on that same day. Thanks you Cleaning Clinic!
My Defy refrigerator stopped cooling properly. I contacted Defy, and their local repair agent was not prepared to come to our area unless her had another callout in our area. I insisted that they sort out the problem as the refrigerator is still under guarantee, and they called in CG Appliances. The owner of CG Appliances said he knew what the problem was. He ordered the parts and was here as soon as the parts arrived. My refrigerator is working perfectly now. Thanks to CG Appliances!
I recently installed a solar system in my house, and along with this I installed the Centurion Solar Inverter Control Center, provided by Centurion Solar. I was having a couple of problems getting the system setup, and called Centurion. Within minutes they had logged into the control unit and set it up to work correctly. What a pleasure to deal with suppliers who actually know their products! Thanks Centurion!
On the 23rd of July my wife had a fall during a power cut. As a result of the power outage, we could not contact the ambulance service. I phone the local station commander at Calitzdorp SAPS, Captain Meyer. Within minutes he was at our residence to assist. Thank you for going beyond the call of duty.
14 Months ago, I moved to Calitzdorp. I had Telkom install a phone line along with a 2mb ADSL package. After a few weeks, I realised that 2mb was not going to be sufficient, and upgraded my account to a 4mb ADSL, which was the best they could offer. The Telkom representative assured me that we would get 4mb downstream, and 2mb upstream. The upstream for me is much more important. Since then, we have never received anything close to this. We get at best 3mb downstream, and at very best 300k on the upstream. Telkom sent out technicians on 2 or three occasions, and eventually they told us that the system could not give us more than that.... tough luck, suck it up...... but they gladly continued to take or money. In the meantime, to run my business, I have had to move to mobile to do my uploads, at a much higher cost. In order to at least get my value from the ADSL deal, I have been using it for other mundane business tasks. Now Telkom has sent me a "fair usage warning", as must usage is affecting other customers in the area. My package is uncapped.... and I am getting a fraction of the speed I am supposed to, as I am sure is the same problem every other Telkom customer in this area is having. Maybe Telkom should upgrade their system to accommodate paying customers here, instead of sending out threatening warnings to their clients. I can also warn Telkom.... I am an internationally connected marketing specialist. If they continue on this course, I can do untold damage to their already shady reputation, which will cost them far more than this really bad ADSL deal has cost me. If Telkom wishes to continue on this course, they stand to lose a lot more than just me as a customer.
