Arc is a high end store, and definitely not cheap. Their service however is beyond pathetic. I placed two orders online, after waiting almost two weeks I received the first order with the two most expensive items not in the package. No documentation, no explanation as to why the order was short, not even an email following up on delivery. I then picked my second order up from their store in Clearwater, only for that order to also be short! Again, no documentation, no explanation and the staff in the store looking at me like I'm stupid when I queried it. I emailed them immediately re both orders. Five days later, still no response. I eventually phoned them today to be told that they need my bank details for a refund. How would I have received the refund had I not called, considering that there has been zero attempt to make contact with me. I am so disgusted with their service that I will no longer be shopping there. I know I am not their only customer, but I have been a loyal one. Let's see how long it takes for my refund.
This is the second time that Webafrica has "taken my money"! The first time was when I ordered fibre. I was told that I will only be billed once the fibre is active, and the LTE will immediately be cancelled. The fibre was installed but I waited almost two months for it to be activated - and then an amount over R1100.00 was debited from my account for fibre that should be R829.00 per month, PLUS the R800.00 for LTE When I queried it, telling them that the fibre was not active for the time period they debited me for, I was told it was installed and they won't refund me. Now again, I paid via eft, and then the very next day my account is debited. Response time from the call centre is pathetic, and I'm sure I will once again not get my money back.. this totals and amount of over R2000.00 that has been basically stolen from me over the last 3 months. I feel there is no alternative but to contact the ombudsman!!
