Cellphone number fraud. Sim swap fraud
I’m quite appalled with your service at mall of the north. Someone stole my moms number on Saturday via sim swap. Sunday we went in store to get the number back and we were told that service would return to her phone within 5 minutes. When an hour lapsed, we’re told to wait another 24 hours. It’s Monday and my moms number is ringing and is currently being used by a criminal. Still no help. What is this? What’s even more disgusting is how rude the staff were when we keep calling for help today. How does this happen unless it’s a syndicate??? Honestly. We’re told you’re able to view who stole the number and requested the sim swap without my moms knowledge, yet none of you can do anything about it. We call and we’re told only a certain person can help undo all this mess and we needed to wait for him to come in. We’re currently waiting for a certain character at mall of the north to “consult his senior” and he promised to get back to us in 24 hours???? This guy went to the lengths of telling us that he can see who did it and where but he can’t disclose because he doesn’t want to lose his job ????? Is this not sounding like an inside job?????

Booked this lodge for 12 people. During communications it was said that Phumelelo only houses 8 people and the rest would have to sleep in the other lodge, being Thornewood. It is basically false advertising because upon arrival the venue looked nothing like what we thought we had booked. We were checked into Thornwood with horrible rooms, dirty sheets, filthy bathrooms. Small and one small room without en suite bathrooms. When we complained to the manager, Derick, he simply told us that Phumelelo is 4000k per night and we need to consider how much we payed for this accommodation. Money was never an issue. Our issue is we were made to believe that we were paying for something else. He was extremely rude and unwilling to admit to the false advertising. We ended up leaving in the morning.
