Common tavern vibes
Omg! Hell no! One of the most common places known to mankind! My friend and I had no idea what to expect. We just decided to give it a try. Yhu! No thanks, this place is NOT for me! Do yourself a favour and turn the other way around 😂

Its all about the money. Not the care.
A Dr that medicates you to a pulp based on the information you give her. I wont lie. It helped for the most part until I found medication that actually worked for me. She asked if I paid her account DURING a session which made me think that she was never interested in the care she gave me as the patient at the time. She is THAT Dr that is only interested in the money she is going to get out of you. She is going to charge you for EVERYTHING. Even emailing her. She is only interested in getting an appointment with you There are so many other Drs out there that are genuinly interested in the care they give their patients. Dont waste your time and money on this Dr.

Sickeningly sweet “coffee”. I wish the staff could stop throwing copious amounts of sugary syrups into the coffee. I can barely taste the coffee sometimes. I did, however, enjoy the iced latte with a touch of the sugar free caramel syrup. I could taste the coffee and a bit of the syrup, but I think it is different if it is a hot beverage compared to a cold beverage. Perhaps the formular of those sweeteners or the pumpkin spice are potentially made like that.

Horrid quality assurance
I tried discovery bank only to find such a lot of defective parts to the application. They were minor things, but it made me question their quality assurance abilities. 2 critical issues released to the public which is completely humiliating if you ask me (https://mybroadband.co.za/news/banking/325819-discovery-bank-problems-credit-card-debit-orders-go-haywire.html/amp and https://www.businessinsider.co.za/discovery-bank-cvv-code-security-flaw-credit-card-fraud-2019-10) . Why would you have any trust in a bank with such poor quality standards. All the benefits might seem appealing, but it is clearly bait for you to get snatched in their devil snare. I am happy to have stayed with my trustworthy bank, FNB.

Dont go here. I got food poisoning and the quality of the breakfast wasnt even that great. I am pretty sure they do not use fresh ingredients to make their breakfasts.

Money hungry Dr
Unethical Dr who asks if you paid her account during a session. Wrote me 1 month scripts so she can see me monthly just so she can claim the R1500 - R2500 from Discovery. Did not seem the least bit interested in my wellbeing, but rather the money at the end of every session.

I received the most horrible psychiatrist known to mankind. Dr L Parasram. She was only interested in the amount of money she could claim from my medical aid plan. She would give me 1 month scripts so she could see me monthly so she can claim from the Medical Aid. She was NOT interested in my wellbeing as a client of hers. Probably the worst treatment I have ever received. She asked in the middle of a session if I paid her account. Extremely unprofessional environment that is not interested in the wellbeing of people there, but only the money they are willing to put on the table. Be very careful of this place.

Akeso Clinic provides the worst service when it comes to psychiatric treatment. There is one specific Indian Dr there that is not interested in you as the client, but the money you are going to put on the table to receive her services. Be very careful.

I was recommended by a friend to see Dr Leanne Parasram. She may seem to be considered a really good psychiatrist and I would say that she is except that one of the problems I had with being her client was the fact that she would ask me in the middle of a session if I paid her account. Then and there I perceived that she was not looking out for my best interest, but her own and ensuring her accounts got paid, we all need to make our buck somehow, but you have a dedicated department that suppose to ensure that your accounts are paid. Why do you have to bring it up in a session? She literally added price tags to every single thing that could be requested from her. A written report was ~R1800, coming late for whatever reason you are charged ~R1700-R2500 a session. Charged me R100 for every email sent to her. Completely and utterly ridiculous! The other problem I had was the fact that she wrote 2 week scripts for me and wanted to see me every 2 weeks so she can claim from Discovery!? The longest script I ever got from her was a 1 month script! My current psychiatrist gave me my first 6 month script in all the years I have been treated and she wrote a report for my Employer for FREE and did not charge me for emailing her if anything was wrong or for an emergency! Dr Leanne Parasram is a daylight robber! She might seem like a nice Dr and prescribing medication to you, but she is not out for your best interest. She just wants your MONEY!!! One money hungry Dr!
