Omg! Hell no! One of the most common places known to mankind! My friend and I had no idea what to expect. We just decided to give it a try. Yhu! No thanks, this place is NOT for me! Do yourself a favour and turn the other way around 😂

I am utterly disgusted with this restaurant. We arrived last night for our booking, walked in and decided that we will not be having dinner at your premises. When we walked in the area was in chaos with boxes standing around. We weren't greeted by anyone even though there where some of the staff seated at a table doing what looked like admin. Only after I approached them did they acknowledge us. When we walked out to the outside seating area is when we changed our minds immediately. There was ******* laying under the tables, the tables themselves where absolutely filthy and looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while. There was a table where dishes was still standing and you could see that is has been standing there for a while. There was no staff in sight. Then there was the smell. It's smelled like something had died in the plants and was decomposing. There where flies everywhere. If this is how Their area for patrons look like I don't even want to think of the condition of their kitchen. It is absolutely abhorrent and disgusting. We turned around and walked out. We where a large group that left, but no staff members acknowledged us while we where there or when we walked out without even sitting down. They say on their website that they are a family restaurant, but this is definitely not the case.

We purchased tickets to watch South Africa vs All blacks rugby game at The Palms Pub & Grill on Saturday, 7 October 2024. My husband(Coloured) invited his colleague and colleages wife (Black). After the game, we moved to the front of the venue and stood at the bar and ordered more drinks. My husbands colleague and his wife, went to the bathrooms. Upon there return, they asked the one young lady (White and looks about early twenties) if they could move past them to get to us, she wouldn't give way, and the wife was told "I don't give way to your kind". While we were standing there, the whites that wanted to pass through she gladly gave way to, laughed with them etc. When we left, we walked past them again and was met with ugly looks and she did not really want us to pass through. We were told she is the owners daughter and if we mention anything, it will be swept under the rug. This left a really bitter taste and will definitely not be supporting them anymore and will be advising others as well. Pity we can't give a 0 star review as one star is already too much.
