I have been making use of SweepSouth for the past 4 months after my full time domestic worker resigned. I have been able to have the same SweepStar - Sithembinkosi to come and help with the housekeeping Mon-Thursday every week. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Sithembinkosi is - she is so meticulous and thorough and hardworking and does an excellent job. She also consistently goes the extra mile for us and I am so grateful. The app makes it easy to make bookings and re-schedule if necessary, and if Thembi needs to take time off, they organise a replacement for her, which is wonderful. The other big advantage is that there is insurance included, should anything get broken by accident, and I also don't have to have the hassle of sorting out UIF, leave and other issues. I cannot recommend this service highly enough. I don't think I will ever go back!
I contacted Chezleigh Meas on 18 November 2020 to come and see why my Aquasol pool heatpump was not heating properly. He took the machine to the workshop and "repaired" it to the cost of R6100. Subsequently, upon return, the heatpump had not been electrically earthed properly and kept tripping the earth leakage, which necessitated a visit from our electrician. Then the machine was running but not actually heating the pool. I contacted Chezleigh who promised to come and see to it but didn't actually ever arrive despite promising to. Eventually, Chezleigh stopped answering my messages and phonecalls. 2 months later I still have a heatpump which does not work. I got another company to come and look at it and they tell me that the heatpump has been damaged because there was no gas in the compressor and the low-pressure safety switch had been bypassed. Please don't ever use this company if you want to save yourself a great deal of hassle and money.
I placed an order through the Mr Price Home website on friday 23 November. Due to the fact that I anticipated that they would likely be receiving high volumes of orders I was patient even when my order still reflected a status of "on hold" 7 days later (29 November 2018), despite the payment being deducted from my bank account. I received no communication from Mr Price Home about the reason for the delay. I decided to telephone the call centre to find out why my order was still reflecting "on hold". I spoke to Zinhle at the call centre who informed me that more than half of the items on my order were in fact now out of stock and that was the reason for the order being on hold. She could not tell me how long it would take for stock to be replenished - "a few weeks" perhaps. I said that would not be acceptable as I required the items for my guest room for guests who were coming to stay. She said she could cancel the order and I could re-order but I said that that would be unsatisfactory as I would lose the 20% discount I had used which was only valid on the black friday weekend. I then went to the online website and the items which she told me were out of stock were still reflecting as being in stock on the online shopping website. I queried how this could be - surely if they are in stock then they can fill my order. She directed me to a colleague named Nivashni - whose line was busy but Zinhle promised she would get Nivashni to call me back and took my details. 2 hours later no response. I called back again and was put on hold for 20 minutes whereafter I spoke to Zinhle again who said she would speak to her supervisor and get back to me. I am still waiting. My attempts at getting any sort of resolution through your call centre have failed. I don't understand why it is so difficult to process the order when the items are still reflecting "in stock" on your website, and why I had absolutely no pre-emptive explanation from Mr Price Home as to what the issue was for the delay. I have had to run around trying to get answers 7 days later and still have no resolution. As a loyal customer, to say this customer service experience has been disappointing is a complete understatement. I would give zero stars if I could. I am hoping that I will get some sort of response and resolution through this forum, but I am disappointed that I have had to resort to such measures.
