Good day I had to replace a slam lock urgently on Monday for a new tenant. I contacted this company via google. They phoned me back and said they can help me immediately and that I should send them a location pin. I was told that the call out fee would be R695. Well after waiting for 3 hours, I phoned them again. I waited another hour, because now they had car problems. I asked the guy: "Do you want me to get someone else?" No! They are on their way. The technician fiddled with the lock and then left to buy a lock. Came back and fiddled again and then said he will have to leave again, but can only complete the job the following day - Tuesday. The following day the technician sends me an invoice that he got from the Locksmith Call Centre that I must pay immediately. The amount is R3 495,00!!!! So I mentioned this extraordinary high cost to a male friend who nearly faints when I tell him the story. He goes and check out the lock for me, drives to the hardware store and send me a picture of what that lock cost at the hardware store! R269.00!!! I contacted the company, who blames the technician, but the technician says he gets all his assignments from the Locksmith Call Centre and he just does what the Locksmith Call Center tells him to do. It is not even my signiture on the invoice! I have definately been taken for a ride. Please be aware of this company. I have proof of all communications on my whatsapp between the company and myself. They told me I approved this costly lock, but I never did. The invoice for R3495,00 was in the Company name called D.I. Wise
I have spent an hour on my phone with Showmax last Saturday trying to find out why I cannot watch Showmax as I did the day before! The error LNK1020 was on my tv screen. Thursday another hour on the phone. Error HAP1000 seems to be the problem. I have tried everything from signing out of my profile and signing in again. We pay via DSTV. WE ARE SUBSCRIBED on DSTV and Showmax. Our download speed then was the problem, but it turned out not to be true. As soon as the technical support realize they cannot help me, my problem gets upgraded with a promise with someone to phone me back. This is the worst service I have had in many years. Has anyone any idea HOW I can solve this very frustrating problem?
