Most expensive pub in the ECape... R49 for double brandy and coke Zero.... Ordered a Wiskey Special and brandy Special.. Received a single brand and coke zero at R49... no wiskey received. I was told that I am rude to expect a brandy special with Coke Zero... this pub won’t last!
Attending a wedding with a rude Barman. No tabs allowed even if I pawn my 750k new Suv as collateral. Only the keys are worth 12k. Offering to swipe 2k on my card. If there is credit left I must take alcohol at their prices. R35 a beer. I had to drink the chamoagne and orange juice on the tables. The the starter arrived. It was awesome! Main meal had carots julinne... was circles of carrots not even sweet. Sirloin steak was tenderized steak. Lastly potatoes were a week old. Teied to communicate with Management. They were prepared to let me pay corkage of R150 on a bottle of KWV brandy which cost met R120. After the pudding we left. I guess a cheap venue is not always the solution!!! I will never go bac****

Gross mis-representation by VHI Staff Jerome Delport ********** Fri, 14 Dec 2018, 21:57 To admin The Management of VHI On the 1st December 2018 my wife and I attended a VHI Marketing session with your staff at Time square, Menlyn Pretoria. After the consultation we were taken to see you consultant Bennie Blom. We were lead to believe that he is an honest person and that he has the best deal ever. I explained to him that we have already done our homework taking a trip to Thailand on the 20th December 2018 for 10 days. The cost will be R51 000.00. I shared the trips details with him. He then used his smartphone to Google the VHI deal. He then calculated by awarding us two vouchers we would receive 14 days trip. The savings will be over R10 000 plus and 30% off the flights via the VHI deal. I was the upgraded to the Sapphire option for 30 years. The entire deal over the period of two years would cost me around R38000.00. Bennie explained to me that I can book the entire deal on the coming Monday 3rd December 2018 via the call centre and the phone will not even ring twice as VHI have a very difficult German boss. I told Bennie that I will personally ring his neck if he took my money and I cannot take my wife on holiday as was promised to her. I was told to probably sign over a hundred places pointing out to me only two points ie. the two years of payments and then after 10 years all my money back. (R38000.00) I was then told after I signed that there are other people that need to see Bennie for the deal. The entire time spent was 20 minutes and 5 minutes on the paperwork with an EFT of R9199.00. The EFT I had to do in the passage. We then left with a file that contained 2 vouchers and the contract. At home we studied the contract and noted that the reliance benefit contribution was for 10 years and not 2 years and there were CPI escalations of minimum of 8%. Thus, I will have to pay R52000.00 over and above the R38000.00 to receive my R38000.00 back. This was never mentioned to us. On Monday I contacted the VHI telephone number ********** and wanted to enquire to cancel the deal due to the mis-representation. I was told that my contract is in transit. I will have to wait. By Wednesday, same story. On Thursday, I pushed the Call Centre and was told that I must read my contract it takes 8 to 12 weeks to register me on the system. I then took one step further and enquired about the booking of my trip to Thailand. I was told that I could not be assisted and I needed to follow the process on the voucher. I informed the agent that it is not what Bennie told us. We could do the booking all on Monday the 3rd December 2018. Now it is 3 days later.... My wife and I then exhausted the process further by trying to book the accommodation only to find that we must take their flight bookings. Prices obtained were not even worth considering as it was more that my original quotation presented to Bennie. The two vouchers cannot be used together. Thus, our 14 day trip cannot happen. Also the vouchers cannot be utilised during black out/Blockout periods. Thus, these vouchers were used to de-fraud us of R9199.00. Lastly, no breakfast and an admin fee is also added. Due to the above, my wife and I cannot go on holiday as VHI has taken our money R9199.00. So we have to sit at home due to VHI staff. I would appreciate my deposit back within 7 days and a complete cancellation of this contract. Failing, I take the above situation in a serious light and will lay criminal charges for fraud via the commercial crimes agency. I have also researched Hello Peter, I see a trend that VHI staff is continually de-frauding innocent victims like Myself. Your urgent feedback will be highly appreciated. Feedback Today the 07 January 2019: Sandra calls me and implies that I must separate the vouchers and confirms the 10 years contract. She says its for services going to be rendered. Pre-payment unbelievable. I am going to refer this to the Legal Counsel mentioned by the numerous other victims caught with this scam. Secondly, I will open the case at SAPS. I will provide the CAS number soonest for all to add their cases. I will also contact Carte Blanche. It is time that this ends. Its tarnishing our economy.
