I had a very bad experience at Devonvale Golf Lodge Estate with customer service at the lowest level. Venue is awesome but my experience with reservation and booking, customer service was the worst experienced, Being a regular traveller locally and internationally. We were checkout without our knowledge whilst attending my son's wedding in Stellenbosch. Our privacy was invaded and touching and moving our personal belongings without consent in the room during Covid19 was not sitting all good with Shana and I. The worst was the manager was not on site and had to ask receptionist to call him so I could voice my concerns, but Jaco and staff had an attitude, no empathy to our situation, he was helpful at all. Please ensure when booking at Devonvale Golf Estate , that they honour your deal and ensure that they live up to their promise. Very very unhappy customer.
To my dismay, I discovered my Telkom prepaid land line not working since August 2018 and many queries later, just to be told that the lines are down. When I spoke to a friend she informed me that the prepaid contract we had (Wire Wire) has been discontinued. Without a warning or any communication. So disgusted and appauled with the service and realise that Telkom is only outcthere to make another buck and bleed the consumer dry. Only to be told today Wednesday 5 December 2018 by consultant Mhlonishea Shabane that my line has been suspended due to non payment,therefore he cannot open my line again on a prepaid and only a monthly billed land line, I requested his manager to call me back asap in order to escalate, no call as yet. I Iogged a call on 12 November 2018, spoke to Lebo Ntlywala 2. 25pm in the Sales Service department on 10213. She informed me that she would request a wireless handset to replace prepaid line and that someone would contact me wrt delivery. After no contact for 5 days I made another follow up call. On a Friday 16 November 12.42 I spoke to consultant Adam Jacobs whom had promised to request a wireless handset. To date, no communication. I am furious at the level of service and that no one response to a request. The explanation by Mhlonishea Shabane today is unacceptable, when he discovered my contact number has changed. "Telkom most probably contacted me on my old cell number" Sure in this technology advance Era, there is other means of notification. Email and home address remained the same for almost 20 years. No excuse for my horid experience and disgustingly bad service levels. I surely hope so one in a senior position would be able to resolve my query as I've been hitting a brick wall. My small business has suffered losses due clients not being able to contact me. This is a huge inconvenience and would not advise anyone to do business with Telkom in future.
