For the past two months mtn has not kept up with the contract agreement as per data allocation. My wife has been on the phone everyday and every time a new ticket is logged. We have even been told that it has been loaded but there is no trace of it. Why do we have to pay for a product we are not receiving. Just not pay your account on time and your line gets suspended. Some one at mtn must be able to rectify this. We want to cancel this contract but now we have to pay a cancellation fee why because of someone else's incompetence. Really now
Early in September 2022 my wife called mtn to do a upgrade.She was offered a sim only package called MADE FOR ME XS.On the 12th September 10gig data,50sms and 150 minutes was received as per agreement.on 12th October 2022 only 1 gig ,50 SMS and 50 minutes was received.My wife then called and she was told that the package was no longer available and that the data ,SMS and minutes is all she receives and that the package was not available for 2 years and then a few months ago.She explained that that is not what she signed for whereby she was told that she can do an early upgrade for another package that had the data ,SMS and minutes that she says she signed for,for a fee of R200.Mtn says that there was a system error.So why must she pay for a system error.Service with the retention dept is pethetic who do not even want to retrieve the call of the day the upgrade was done.Both a consultant and senior manager insisting there is nothing they can do.
I have been battling for months now with porting my number from Neotel but with no success. I get no reply from neotel or liquid telecom are not assisting. How can you run a service like this even call center has no clue how to do it.
I went for a add on to my contract on the 4th December 2918 MTN has a promo with 20gig free for a month and a 14gig access pass all valid for a month. Calls are made with regards to when it will be loaded but stories are being given from 48 hour to 7 days. MTN call center is useless and do not know their promotions. More than a week later still nothing. I even have a Ref number but it has not even been looked at.
