The last insurance company I was with didn't even answer their phone when I called on a Friday evening after 6pm. Tlotlo was efficient, helpful, quick to respond, and understood that I had yo get to a conference despite my breakdown. The tow truck guy was very helpful and the whole thing was handled speedily and professionally. Very impressed.

OLD MUTUAL RENEGE SPECIALISTS
I see Old Mutual has the cheek to put adverts on TV about their Disability insurance. What a bunch if scam artists!!! My daughter was on their GREENLIGHT policy. Their own agent asked us whether we wanted to include disability as she was working on a cruise line. YES, we said. After she was paralysed in her hand, they said they could only pay out anything if she was paralysed in TWO SEPARATE LIMBS!! Their own agent resigned at how unfairly she was treated. It is years later and she is still paying off her tuition fees because she can no longer work in the industry she was trained for, and OLD MUTUAL reneged on their promises!!! Liars and cheats!!! Avoid this company at all costs.

A "Hands On" Business
Heritage Crafts has been trading since 1902. With an understandable slow down in the craft industry, they have shown their versatility by bringing out a 75% alcohol based hand sanitizer, that is #SupportLocal and realistically priced rather than some overpriced Dollar based import. It smells great and dries without being sticky, and they are currently working on face masks. Good for them for adapting in these trying times, and not trying to make a fast buck with over inflated prices.

SAME OLD, SAME OLD MUTUAL
Same Old, Same Old Mutual. I wrote a review on Hello Peter many months ago letting people know how Old Mutual's own agent had failed to give me information that would have assured my daughter of disability cover while working on the cruise ships, She has some paralysis, but Old Mutual wont pay her because she is not paralyzed in TWO SEPARATE LIMBS. They responded by saying they would look into it and get back to me, Same old lies, same old pathetic non-service. Heard nothing! I will trash their cheating name from every platform there is, and in any conversation about insurance. They have destroyed my daughter's faith in humanity!!

We've covered our butts!
My daughter qualified as a Somatologist, & went to work on the Caribbean ships. The Old Mutual insurance agent asked whether I wanted to add disability to her cover. "For sure," I said. She became paralyzed in her little finger & may no longer work in that industry. I tried to claim, & was told that 'you have to be paralyzed in 2 SEPARATE LIMBS to qualify. "That's outrageous!" I exclaimed. You should have taken comprehensive cover, not basic, they tried to say. "I was never offered anything but disability cover, by your OWN AGENT. We'll look into it... Two years my daughter is still paralyzed. They never did. I will NEVER use or recommend them!! EVER!! They lied to me and to the agent. Bunch of crooks!!

The Non Courier Guy
The Courier Guy comes highly recommended, and the first delivery went fine, but by the second time we called them ... just excuses and no action. They are now two days late to collect a parcel, and my customer thinks I'm lying because I'm basing my promises on 'The Courier Guy's' promises. Very disappointing lack of service. I wont recommend them to anyone. I can't see how they won prizes for best courier. One of my suppliers has just cancelled their contract with them and now I understand why!!
