I was very impressed with Helé and her team after our first phone call. They seemed very professional and it seemed she ran a tight ship. I was VERY wrong. It soon became clear to me that the quality of the samples they sent me initially was not true to bulk production quality. Helé promised this would improve. The workmanship is terrible. After having order after order returned to me because of the poor quality stitching, Helé repeatedly came up with excuses like 'its difficult to control quality when working with a large team, my patterns are faulty etc'. I have worked with a bunch of CMT's in the past and never have my patterns been blamed. These are the same patterns Stitchbury worked with. There would be days at a time where Helé and her manager were not reachable. We had to count every single garment we received from them because there were always garments missing. It's been 2 months that Helé has known about the missing garments and promised to refund me for them. I have still not received a cent. I had to return over 90 garments to Stitchbury to be fixed because they were of such poor quality I couldn't sell them. They returned these garments to me in exactly the same condition. They were ironed so many times that many of the garments now look faded and warn. After spending over R100K at this company I can easily say this was the biggest mistake I ever made.
I ordered the Iris tunic and was quite surprised by the terrible quality. I paid R830 for the dress and after hand washing it it shrunk 2 sizes. There customer care is also appalling. First they said they would check the instructions and never got back to me. They said they would refund me but then also never sent the details and just didnt reply to any of my messages from that point. Worst online shopping experience ever!! Stay away!!!
