I have read the recent reviews and honestly you’re all too kind … this company is 100% the worst , most unreliable, worst service based and unprofessional company to work with . Helé is a *****, took our funds and never provided items paid for , ignores you 99% of the time with lame excuses and is rude and disrespectful to your customer care and support expectation. The QUALITY OF THEIR CLOTHING IS SHOCKING… So basically, this business is not reliable for anyone to use , invest time or money or any resources in , but Helé will surely entertain you on instagram where she finds the time to invest her efforts in , showcasing her talents as a useless business woman who stole our money.

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND STITCHBURY. PLACED AN ORDER AND PAID DEPOSIT IN MAY, IT'S 7 MONTHS LATER AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY DEPOSIT THAT THEY DIDN'T MANUFACTURE FOR AS WELL AS STOCK THAT WAS PAID FOR. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! TRIED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH LAWYERS, TO NO AVAIL, HELE JUST SEEMS TO IGNORE THE LAW. SO NOW I WILL BE OPTING THIS ROUTE TO GET WHAT IS OWED TO ME.

Be very cautious when dealing with Helé van Aswegen and Stitchbury. Read all the reviews online and THEN only do you decide whether you can give this person your fabric and money. She sounds very capable and right for the job in the planning stage. She then demands a 100% upfront payment and, vanishes. It becomes harder to get a hold her, she makes dates for completion and doesn't stick to them and eventually even outright refuses to give you feedback on your order. We've sent her about R85k of our fabric and have had no response from her or her lawyers about where our stuff is. Her lawyers? Yes, she will play victim and put a team of lawyers on you. I can advise anyone who is out of pocket because of Helé van Aswegen and Stitchbury to report her to your bank and the police. It's important that a record of her behaviour is made with authorities now so that she is eventually held accountable and put to book. Please contact me too. We're already putting together a class actiom lawsuit against her with other victims of her actions.

**** ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once you go through the payment of a R520 consultation fee, they basically fool around with you in the hopes that you will eventually forget about them and move on. 6 months later and I am still waiting for an appointment. My request for a refund was also ignored by them. May God forgive them for what they are doing to people. I would rather have no money in this world then pay a Land Cruiser with blood money.

**** ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very impressed with Helé and her team after our first phone call. They seemed very professional and it seemed she ran a tight ship. I was VERY wrong. It soon became clear to me that the quality of the samples they sent me initially was not true to bulk production quality. Helé promised this would improve. The workmanship is terrible. After having order after order returned to me because of the poor quality stitching, Helé repeatedly came up with excuses like 'its difficult to control quality when working with a large team, my patterns are faulty etc'. I have worked with a bunch of CMT's in the past and never have my patterns been blamed. These are the same patterns Stitchbury worked with. There would be days at a time where Helé and her manager were not reachable. We had to count every single garment we received from them because there were always garments missing. It's been 2 months that Helé has known about the missing garments and promised to refund me for them. I have still not received a cent. I had to return over 90 garments to Stitchbury to be fixed because they were of such poor quality I couldn't sell them. They returned these garments to me in exactly the same condition. They were ironed so many times that many of the garments now look faded and warn. After spending over R100K at this company I can easily say this was the biggest mistake I ever made.
