Stay away from Stitchbury
Be very cautious when dealing with Helé van Aswegen and Stitchbury. Read all the reviews online and THEN only do you decide whether you can give this person your fabric and money. She sounds very capable and right for the job in the planning stage. She then demands a 100% upfront payment and, vanishes. It becomes harder to get a hold her, she makes dates for completion and doesn't stick to them and eventually even outright refuses to give you feedback on your order. We've sent her about R85k of our fabric and have had no response from her or her lawyers about where our stuff is. Her lawyers? Yes, she will play victim and put a team of lawyers on you. I can advise anyone who is out of pocket because of Helé van Aswegen and Stitchbury to report her to your bank and the police. It's important that a record of her behaviour is made with authorities now so that she is eventually held accountable and put to book. Please contact me too. We're already putting together a class actiom lawsuit against her with other victims of her actions.

Hele, the director of Stitchbury, is trying to silence us through ************ of her laywers. Firstly, she is trying to say that no negative review of her company is allowed to take place and has issued us with legal letters. Secondly, she has stated that 2 months in, she has only completed 20% of the order. The remainder of the order will take 3 more months and we have to pay the full outstanding balance for the order to be completed. So let me summarise that for the reader. An order of 300 dresses will take 5 months to complete if we pay 100% upfront to a manufacturer who has blocked us telephonically once we started asking about estimated completion time. Yes, it will feel like you're in the twilight zone if you're reckless enough to transact with Stitchbury
