I am a regular customer at Cosmetic Connections because like most black African women I get braids throughout the year so I stock up on hairpieces and other beauty essentials on their site,this month was no different I made a payment on the 26th of February 2026 and I am still waiting for my package. They told me it would be delivered to my work place on the 3rd of February and this never happened. I have tried to talk to them through WhatsApp and the constact numbers they have enlisted on their site,which by the way do not work. When I talk to them in WhatsApp they hand me over to someone who supposedly has more sound knowledge on how to help me with my problem but all that is is just a BOT that has zero emotional range or understanding of my situation. I am frustrated because this has never happened and upon closer inspection the tracking shows that my package was never delivered because I was never called,it just moved to transit then went back to sender and they say it was because I was unreachable when really they didn’t even take the time to call me which I find scandalous and sloppy because I can see it from my side too. I just want my contents or they must give me my refund. My order number is #257567 I will never again use this site.
On 24/10/2024 I made an immediate payment into a Standard Bank business account for a business that sells wigs. I was in communication with this person and they assured me that my wig was on the way because due to black Friday they had to send out a large order to save costs. Unfortunately I never received my goods and the account holder stopped responding to my texts,it turns out I was ****med and they use this Standard Bank account for their *****ulent dealings. So I called Standard Bank and they said my institution,Capitec Bank is the one that is supposed to lodge a complaint for me with a case number. On the 19/11/2024 I sent Capitec Bank a certified copy of my ID and an affidavit as per their request. I waited 3 long weeks and I contacted them but they told me they are awaiting Standard Bank. Yet when I called Capitec again they told me they had not received anything so they gave me an alternative email belonging to a Dimakatso Chauke, so on the 03/12 I forwarded my documents yet again it was as if I'm starting the process all over again. I'm disappointed in Capitec Bank because this process was supposed to take less than 4 weeks the year is approaching its end and they have not called nor emailed me anything I have even reverted to DMing them on Twitter and I as a person can't approach Standard Bank, Capitec is always advising its customers about **** artists and physhing yet they can't help me as a victim of this crime I want to know what the hold up is.

Hello, I buy online frequently and more often than not I choose to use PAXI because they are cheaper and everyone is striving to save a buck in this economy. I have used the PEP in Maponya mall because I stay in Soweto. Today I had an unfortunate incident where I was told off by a disgruntled cashier. I received a text this morning so I went during lunch to get my package. On arrival I get there and normally wait by the cellphone counter because they told me I don't have to join the queue If I am not making a purchase, collection takes less than two minutes. The lady in question her name is Dimakatso, asked me what I was waiting for and I explained ans showed her my text, and she gave me attitude and said "Did they tell you not to queue" I told her it was not my first time so I always wait till I'm assisted and she had bo desire to help me instead she had a fit and was belligerent telling me who exactly told me I wasn't supposed to join the line,I pointed at the last who always helps me she is the store manager and she said "so you expect our manager to leave her post to come and assist you? I was appalled because the PEP values are "Compassion, Responsibility,Impact,Enterprising Spirit and Inspiration" yet this cashier demonstrated none of the above. The store manager called someone else and my package was handed to me in less than a minute,her attitude was unnecessary ans *****ed the image of the face of PEP Africa as this store is affectionately known as. I'm disappointed and won't be using this PEP store in future.
Good morning. I enlisted the services of Home Connect through Vuma on in February. But on the 12th of July I canceled the order because they did not show up to Connect my WiFi and I had used another ISP and they said in order for them to go through with it I had to cancel the previous one so I did that u sent them POP and everything. Much to my surprise Afrihost has shut down my WiFi and they are asking for proof of cancelation. I am so angry and confused. It's nearing the end of August I have not been refunded my money and my WiFi has been disconnected. Please assist,this is yet another that ISP don't give a damn about their customers.
On the 24/02/2024 I paid for Fibre connection services for Vumatel,they told me they would not go ahead with installation until I sent my proof of payment which I did I paid at PnP. I waited for months on end and no technician came no reassurance no nothing. I still needed the fibre so I paid once again via Afrihost for Vumatel to install and yet and still no one came until I started fighting with them for them to send a technician as I paid for a second time for services that weren't rendered. They told me they can't process it because they see a pending order under the same name,which I believe was not my problem but a sloppy mistake on their end. I cancelled the first order,and after multiple calls and emails sent they technician who came at 20:00 on 18/07/2024. I am disappointed to say my services have not been active since then. When I call not only do they tell me about the former order which I canceled but they sent me the wrong wifi name and password and refuse to address me directly only when I call in,which I did today at 09:58 did I get feedback. When I call Afrihost they revert me back to Vumatel,it's like no one wants to be held accountable for services that I paid for TWICE!!!!!. I am angry and frustrated. It's making me look bad at work as well. Can someone please assist. All I want is my password and for my WiFi to be activated.
Still no installation has taken place. I have made multiple attempts at trying to get reassurance from these companies which I paid promptly on the 24 of June. I am in desperate need of my Fibre because it's making me look *********** and like I am lying. My reference number is OVR - 2506400262016 Just this morning at 10:28 I called their offices and I spoke to Sibonisile (their calls are recorded so I know they have this on record) who told me it was the IPSs fault) and she told me she'd contact a technician who was in the area to come to my house and still no one has showed up. I no longer know what to do you get service from these people,and ironically they always promote said business under tents in Soweto but they have absolutely no urgency when it comes to service delivery. I'm disappointed.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the delay in the installation of the fiber connection at my residence. I submitted my application for the fiber connection on June 25th and was eagerly awaiting a call from Vumatel regarding the installation schedule. However, despite my repeated attempts to reach them , I have not received any updates or confirmation of when they will be coming to install the connection. I must admit that I am not pleased with the delayed service because they called me once and said theyd fix any error on their part (I paid via PayFast with urgency). I was told about the reliability and efficiency of your services, which is why this delay comes as a surprise and inconvenience. What angers me is that I have paid them before they never came nor did they reimburse me for their mistake,I took a chance with Afrihost and I am still awaiting them. I kindly request your assistance in expediting the process and ensuring that the fiber connection installation is completed at the earliest convenience. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The service at the Lebanese restaurant in Hyde Park is sorry to say the least. There's always something wrong or something they neglect to do especially if you work in the center as well. The first few times they got my order wrong because I am allergic to eggs,so I always get fries In leau of eggs and I don't mind that they charge me separately for every single thing,my problem is the disdainful service I get when I go there. I place my order while standing but it seems no one ever wants to help me when I go there I end up standing like an idiot by their machine that they punch in when placing an order and no one approachs me to see if I'd like to place an order eventhough I have ordered there several times. Similar situation happened this morning and I just walked away. I am disappointed to say the least but I'm done.
I am still disappointed in VUMATEL. This is my third review because nothing has been said or done. I paid on the 24th of February 2024 they told me to send proof of payment which I did. I experienced difficulties with them even to the point where I’d leave my keys at the neighbours so they could be granted access when they come to install still nothing has happened. I said ok rather reimburse me so I can get another host to help. They are still quiet about that aswell and I’m sad because I work from home and I buy data. What can I do as a customer to be taken seriously by these people ? Do I wait for them once again to attempt to get installed because I paid for a service that was never rendered and when I come here they say they sent me a personal message which is not the case. I need help.
