Active since Jan 2019
On 13th January 2022 my vehicle had a problem with the turbo, workshop assessment stated that it was material failure turbo shaft was bent, my policy covers R30 000 for turbo. AA Warranties rejected the claim due to wear and tear of the turbo. I will be cancelling my policy and will never use them again and I will spread the word of their scam.
I bought a new VW Polo in April 2018, in Oct I took it for its first tyre rotation to Dunlop Zone Menlyn which also included a wheel alignment. After doing this the car started pulling to the left, but I only managed to take it back to them to fix on 3rd Jan 2019 where they spent 2 hours with the vehicle on the machine, setting and testing it. After they were satisfied I paid for the wheel alignment and left, but felt it still pulled to the left. I took it back today 4 Jan, reporting that the problem still has not been resolved, they again tested it and after spending an hour they reported that they set the alignment back to the way it was on 3rd Jan and that I need to take the vehicle to Volkswagen to set it back to factory settings. I requested a refund for the invoice on the 3rd of Jan seeing that no services were rendered and the alignment was reset to the problematic settings. They replied that my next tyre rotation would be free of charge because the effort to do a refund is too great. Utter poor customer service, will never take any vehicle back to them.
