AA Warranties Dissappoints Me, AA Warranties Has Been Rejecting One Of My Claims Due To Wear And Tear. Even Though The Workshop Stated That The Engine Cambelt Snapping Was Sudden Which Led To The The Valves Being Bent , And The Pistons Coliding With Valves. So No I Do Not Think It's Because Of Wear And Tear. It's Because This Company Is ****ing Useless And They Are **** Lazy. And That They Are Too Cheap To Pay Out One Simple Claim.

My debit order did not go off for March. I them emailed 3 April 2026, them thinking that they forgot to change the date of my debit order. By 5th the debit order didn't go off but so i emailed them again requesting there banking details so i could do the payment. Paid them then i get an email stating im arrears so requested why. Cola, emails stating its because i changed the debit order date thats why I'm in arrears. I contact them disputing this email. By 23 April, i spoke 3 different people to found out it was a warrenty that i haven't signed up for that was added onto our account. Our debit order mandate with the bank was suspended because theres a revised mandate with the warrenty included which needed to be approved by me. I never received a new mandate with any changes. AA Warranty and Marquis claims that i signed for a service and tyre warrenty. They cant cancel the warranty until they hear a recording which they claim states i agreed. The strange thing i spoke to the a Lady at AA in August 2025 asking if im interested in a policy. Which I told her i needed to confirm with my husband. I didnt accept that the agreement at the time and in March 2026 they tried to deduct it with my monthly payment. The debit order payment most was probably was rejected by the bank and bounced back. I had to pay it via Eft. My concern was this month payment which they claim the amount has changed because of the warranty. Noone can assist until they hear a recording. I will have to cancel the warrenty with AA warranty. Now the debit order is going off tomorrow with the warrenty and must accept it. We feel that we are being bul**** into this policy that we didnt sign up for. There staff is like robots that wont go the extra mile to see if they can assist.

I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding the manner in which my claim has been handled by AA Warranty. From the onset, I acted in good faith and with urgency because my vehicle displayed an EPC warning light, which is a serious engine-related warning that could not reasonably be ignored without risking further damage. As the vehicle is essential for my daily travel to and from work, I had to act responsibly to prevent a potentially bigger mechanical failure. Before proceeding, I attempted to contact your claims department on the provided claims number (***) three separate times without success. I also sent an email to report the matter. Unfortunately, there was no immediate assistance available from your office at a time when urgent support was required most. Despite this, I still ensured that I followed the claims process as far as reasonably possible by obtaining and providing the paid invoice, failure report, diagnostic report, and I also have photographs of the failed component available. This demonstrates that there was never any intention to bypass procedure, but rather to protect the vehicle from further damage while trying to comply with policy requirements. What is particularly disappointing is that the rejection appears to rely strictly on “unauthorized repairs” without proper consideration of the actual circumstances, including the urgency of the breakdown, the failed attempts to reach your office, and the provisions within your own policy relating to breakdowns occurring after hours, weekends, and public holidays. It is difficult to understand how a policyholder is expected to leave a serious engine fault unresolved indefinitely while being unable to access claims support, and then later be penalized for taking responsible action to prevent further loss. This does not reflect fairness, reasonableness, or good faith in customer service. It is also becoming increasingly frustrating that the company appears to focus more on finding loopholes and technicalities to avoid honoring valid claims, rather than fairly assessing the genuine circumstances faced by policyholders. As a customer, one expects protection and support when genuine mechanical failures occur—not resistance, delays, and reasons to reject responsibility. Additionally, the reference to “wear and tear” has been made without providing sufficient technical explanation or assessor findings to support such a conclusion. I believe I am entitled to full transparency regarding how this determination was reached. As a long-standing customer, I expected AA Warranty to approach this matter with fairness and proper consideration of the practical realities faced by consumers during urgent breakdown situations. Instead, the continued handling of this matter has left me feeling unsupported, unfairly prejudiced, and with the impression that the company prioritizes avoiding payouts over delivering the service promised to its customers.

I am so disappointed with AA, On the 17/02/2024, I took a warranty policy with AA. policy number 360406. Then on the 20/02/2026, i took my car for service and the following were discovered as additional work to be done: Drive shafts, fan belt and wipes. I then request dealer to attend service as i need to check with AA if these wear and tear will be covered. I then called AA on Monday 23/02/2026 to check if these additional will be covered in which i was told that AA can only cover drive shafts which i do understand. I then discovered after submitting the quotation that even the drive shafts are not covered as they is no mechanical breakdown. Then I wrote an e-mail to claim, complains department requesting them to explain what is warranty for as I have an understanding that warranty covers wear and tear and the mechanical break down only cover break down. The e-mail was sent on the 25/02/2026 even today there is no response either from claim or complains department. What surprises me on the 29/02/2026 was a debit order while in my e-mail i requested that if they are not going to give me service of what I believe I paid for then they need to cancel the policy and repay all my contribution as I contributed to this policy since the 15/03/2024 until 15/02/2026 . I Just need people to know that they need to check what they are entering into when they buy policies before they make insurance company rich. I also need assistance at least to be refunded my contributions. Thank you in advance Hellopeter

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with AA Warranties. My policy premiums have been increased over time, yet when it comes to submitting a claim, every issue is conveniently labelled as “wear and tear” and rejected. Most recently, my vehicle was inspected at the dealership and it was confirmed that both lower ball joints need to be replaced. I submitted a claim, only for it to be rejected on the basis that it is “wear and tear”. This is extremely frustrating because these components are listed as covered items in my policy. This is not the first time this has happened. I previously had a claim relating to the transfer case, which required repairs, and that was also rejected using the exact same explanation. It raises serious concerns about the value of this warranty. If every mechanical component failure is simply classified as wear and tear, even when those components are listed as covered, then what exactly is the purpose of paying for the warranty? What makes this situation even more frustrating is that AA Warranties has increased the premiums I have been paying, yet when it comes time for them to honour the policy, the claims are declined. Customers take out these warranties in good faith, expecting that the policy wording will be honoured. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. It feels like customers are paying monthly premiums for cover that becomes meaningless when a claim is actually submitted. I would strongly encourage AA Warranties to review their claims assessment process and honour the policy coverage they advertise to customers.
