Worst service ever
Policy A***7 ( This has been one of the worst and most frustrating service experiences I have ever encountered. I have been running around for more than four weeks trying to resolve a simple tyre claim, with no proper guidance, communication, or meaningful assistance from your side. When a claim is logged, all that is sent is a form, with no clear explanation of what is actually required or what process should be followed. You complete the form and submit every document requested, only to later find out — after personally following up — that the claim has been rejected. My first claim was rejected simply because I removed the damaged rim in order to fit another tyre and continue driving. There was never any prior indication that this would affect the claim. The rejection response stated: “As confirmed by yourself on email, the left rear tyre was removed from the rim by an informal service provider and therefore cannot provide a tax invoice for the replacement tyre.” At no point during the claims process was it clearly communicated that this would automatically disqualify the claim. For the second claim, I have been sent from pillar to post collecting bubble tests, photographs, and additional documents. After submitting everything requested, I am then told the pictures are “not clear enough.” Every time I provide what is requested, something new is suddenly required afterwards. From the way this process is handled, it honestly feels as though no claim is ever intended to be approved. Customers are given limited and incomplete information upfront, only for additional requirements and technicalities to be introduced later as reasons to decline the claim. Instead of being guided properly from the beginning, the process feels designed to frustrate and discourage the customer. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of proactive communication. To get any feedback, I have to continuously call for updates, and responses are only sent afterwards via email. The entire process feels unnecessarily difficult, disorganized, exhausting, and unfair to the customer. I genuinely wish someone could simply review the calls, look at any of my claims objectively, and explain what more I could possibly have done from my side. This level of service is deeply disappointing and completely unacceptable. This kind of service makes me completely regret ever taking this policy.

Continued disappointment
I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding the manner in which my claim has been handled by AA Warranty. From the onset, I acted in good faith and with urgency because my vehicle displayed an EPC warning light, which is a serious engine-related warning that could not reasonably be ignored without risking further damage. As the vehicle is essential for my daily travel to and from work, I had to act responsibly to prevent a potentially bigger mechanical failure. Before proceeding, I attempted to contact your claims department on the provided claims number (***) three separate times without success. I also sent an email to report the matter. Unfortunately, there was no immediate assistance available from your office at a time when urgent support was required most. Despite this, I still ensured that I followed the claims process as far as reasonably possible by obtaining and providing the paid invoice, failure report, diagnostic report, and I also have photographs of the failed component available. This demonstrates that there was never any intention to bypass procedure, but rather to protect the vehicle from further damage while trying to comply with policy requirements. What is particularly disappointing is that the rejection appears to rely strictly on “unauthorized repairs” without proper consideration of the actual circumstances, including the urgency of the breakdown, the failed attempts to reach your office, and the provisions within your own policy relating to breakdowns occurring after hours, weekends, and public holidays. It is difficult to understand how a policyholder is expected to leave a serious engine fault unresolved indefinitely while being unable to access claims support, and then later be penalized for taking responsible action to prevent further loss. This does not reflect fairness, reasonableness, or good faith in customer service. It is also becoming increasingly frustrating that the company appears to focus more on finding loopholes and technicalities to avoid honoring valid claims, rather than fairly assessing the genuine circumstances faced by policyholders. As a customer, one expects protection and support when genuine mechanical failures occur—not resistance, delays, and reasons to reject responsibility. Additionally, the reference to “wear and tear” has been made without providing sufficient technical explanation or assessor findings to support such a conclusion. I believe I am entitled to full transparency regarding how this determination was reached. As a long-standing customer, I expected AA Warranty to approach this matter with fairness and proper consideration of the practical realities faced by consumers during urgent breakdown situations. Instead, the continued handling of this matter has left me feeling unsupported, unfairly prejudiced, and with the impression that the company prioritizes avoiding payouts over delivering the service promised to its customers.

Appalling service
I lodged a formal complaint last week and only received a delayed response on Monday stating that the matter would be escalated to Claims. The email came from a faceless “Complaints” address with no name, no direct contact person, and no accountability. Since then, I have received absolutely no feedback. No call. No update. Nothing. When I phoned on Tuesday, the Claims department had no record of the supposed escalation. When I phoned again today, I was told the matter still had not even been reviewed. I am being sent from one department to another while no one takes responsibility for my case. I pay for this service every month, yet I am left to chase them for basic feedback. This is not customer service — it is negligence and a complete breakdown in internal communication. This experience has been unacceptable and deeply frustrating.

Unacceptable Service from Affinity
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from Affinity on 06 March 2025. As a paying customer, I expect reliable and efficient assistance, especially when seeking medical care. However, the experience I endured was nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. After work, I visited a doctor due to flu symptoms. Before my consultation, I attempted to contact Affinity for authorization using the number ***, which is printed on my membership card and is the only number I was aware of. To my shock, I discovered that this number is only operational between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM—which is completely impractical for after-hours medical emergencies. Following the instructions on my card, I sent a call-back request to *** for after-hours support. When I finally got called at 6:10 PM, the representative informed me that she could not assist me as she was on the hospital side. Instead, I was referred to another individual, who later called me. At that the doctor’s surgery had already closed even though i got there early but i couldn't go in without authorization. After assessing my symptoms over the phone, he decided to prescribe medication instead of authorizing a doctor visit. Upon receiving this instruction, I drove to the pharmacy to collect my prescribed medication, only to be informed that Affinity had not processed the payment. The pharmacy assistant attempted to contact Affinity using the same number I had (***), but it was unreachable. I then sent multiple call-back requests to the after-hours number, but received no response. Desperate for assistance, I searched online for alternative contact numbers and found ***. After finally getting through, I was placed on hold until my airtime ran out. I purchased more airtime, called again, and waited an unreasonable amount of time before finally speaking to a representative—only to be informed that authorization could not be granted due to system issues. At this point, I had wasted: 16 km of fuel, Several hours of my time, My airtime, And most importantly, I was left without the necessary medical care I urgently needed. Adding to my frustration, I was told that the only solution was to purchase the medication myself and call back the next day for reimbur*****t. This means that after all my efforts, time, and expenses, I was left with absolutely nothing but an apology and instructions to spend even more money just to access the healthcare I am paying for every single month. What is it that I'm paying for????

Disgusting service while they deducting money- Sies
Once again, the third time i had to go and take my car at the service center because they're not willing to issue the approval letter to VW service center. I am paying every month without fail for the past 2 years and on the previous one i even called prior and i was told to take my care in, but no approval when i took the car in. My car i due for service and they're telling me to wait for 9th Month, if i wait, they will tell me the car is late according to the Kilos. When VW contacted them, they said they have sent me an email, not even calling me, considering the servicing exercise might be a whole day. It's even worse that when you call in they even refuse to even escalate the issue, even though i was telling the lady (Tharwa Dollie - if she was not lying about her name) that my car is waiting at service center for approval [#***] I would never recommend them even to my worst enemy. No accountability and sense of urgency at all.

Cash Crusaders Pier 14 PE - Most ever bad service ever
I bought a a power bank at Cash Crusaders(Pier 14) on 18-08-2021 (R339.90). Barely a week, the power bank was blown. I used the normal mains to charge the power bank, to my suprise it's smelling while i was using it, I took the Power bank in since i didn't even had a month with it. When i sent back i was told to pay for it to be fixed which i refuse because it was still under warranty at the back of my slip, which says "Brand new electrical items carry 12 Month Warranty. They are still keeping their power bank and my money no one bothers to tell me anything about it. I have gone to the branch several times and decided latetly to ask for a letter as a proof that i was there. I have 2 letters in my possesion for the 06th Nov 2021(by the branch Manager) and 11 December 2021 (Lori the assistant), To date i haven't recieved a call or any sort of update. This the very worst service ever and for as long as they don't resolve this issue, i will make sure that everyone know about their service

"Payment not recieved" sms
After so much patience with the notifications from IncredibleConnection, I have decided to write this message. It is with great disgust that after every payment each month, I receive an sms which tells me that you haven't received my payment for the month, and this has been happening every month. I have now received an sms informing me of the payment that hasn't been received, since when are you deducting my account on the 14th or the 15th. Ref***) The contract that I signed with you has an agreement at the end of the month, if there are changes I need to be in agreement with that. Now you are threatening me of the arrears, whereas my account is up to date. How can i have arrears when my debit date is still far? WHY?
