I bought a second hand vehicle from Peugeot Citroen in George without seeing it as I stay in Cape Town. I confirmed with them that I can return the vehicle for full refund if I'm not happy and they agreed. When I received the vehicle 2 tires were expired and accident damage on the rear bumper (this was covered with mud as they delivered the car to me dirty). There were also some other issues such as broken air-vents. None of the issues where disclosed so I sent the vehicle back for refund (before it was registered). They held back R10k (?) on the refund which is unfair I think as I confirmed that I can return it for full refund of there are issues. The Dealer Principle (Hilton) simply refused to take my calls despite several requests. Now a couple of months later I'm getting e-Toll invoices as they registered the vehicle without my concent/knowledge and incurred costs on my name. There could also be pending speeding fines. I tried several times to contact them just to sort it out amicably but again they don't even reply to my mails, No response whatsover from the sales manager (Chris) nor the DP (Hilton). I tried reaching out to Stellantis / Peugeot SA and they simply refused to assist and said I must sort it out direct with Peugeot George...who don't respond at all. I especially bought through a dealership thinking i have brand support, but beware with Stellantis (Peugeot/Citreon). I need to sort out the e-Tolls etc and the Peugeot Brand has left me high and dry. I will never buy from Peugeot in my life again.
Good overall service from Dial Direct with a claim for a bust pipe that led to tiles needing replaced. The appointed contractors gave me some issues but Dial Direct were always willing to listen to my concerns and willing to make good within reason. The service their side was good and fair. Happy to carry on with them and recommend them.
I bought a Honda Jazz from Honda Cape Town. I wasn't quite happy with the specific one I bought. They had no issues at all in me returning the vehicle. They even allowed me to keep the vehicle well after the 5 day cool off period to try and assist me find something more suitable. Although we could not find something, they were friendly, understanding and helpful throughout. I have no problem in referring family and friends there and will surely go there when I want to buy a car again. There is always a concern when buying a vehicle from a dealer that their service and attitude will change after they have your money...but not so with Honda Cape Town. They really offer good service. (I dealt with TC and Wakefield). Well done Honda Cape Town.
I've been with Mweb for a while. They used to be good. I've cut over to fiber last year and they have been stuggling for OVER A MONTH to load my fibre profile. I've been without any connectivity for days and every time I phone I placed on hold for at least 30 minutes per call....and just get transferred from dept to dept. I've requested several times to talk to a manger and just get diverted to another department every time. I emailed the CEO Sean Nourse and some of the other Execs and NOT one of them bothered to reply or return my call. Not one manager bothered to contact me. I'm now struggling to sort out the billing. Furthermore I contacted 2 competitor service providers and they are much cheaper also. From my experience I would not advise anyone to go to Mweb. Service may be ok if there are no issues, but if something goes wrong there is too much schlep to try get assistance and get it resolved unfortunately. I have this all in writing.
