Very poor service. I have been a customer (paying my fee every month!) for several months now. After 7 months, my municipal bill has still not been resolved. You have to send numerous emails every month, they eventually reply with "I have logged a query at the municipality" just for you to receive a higher bill the next month. I constantly(at least once a month) need to go to their offices to demand service and to sort out my municipal bill. They claim that they resolve municipal bills but it has not been the case. And before you think, oh it must have been some or other major issue, I can assure you this is not the case. I simply receive a ridiculously high water bill every month even though I live alone and have no pool and a very small garden. When the poor service was brought under owner's attention, his reply was "I don't work with the day to day enquiries" It is bad enough to resort to a company for your municipal bills, which should actually be a service in itself, only to also receive poor service which you need to pay for.
I have taken a contract with Cell C in October 2018. This contract was advertised as a 100GB wifi at R539pm with a 3 months FREE subscription. However Cell C went ahead and took a double premium from my account end of November. I went to the store where I took the contract and they where helpful but to no avail. Cell C simply replied “We are aware of the problem.” The guy who helped me said that they will look into it and my account wont be deducted for December, January and February. Unfortunately I had another deduction end of December. And already received my statement for January. Again we went to the store and the manager will be looking into the problem now. But why should it be such a hassle for a client to struggle with the provider. Taking my time to go to the store and sit there while we are holding the line for Cell C customer care. Not only does it take my time but now it has also thrown my budget afar. Yes its not such a big amount but for someone who is just starting out, setting up house and buying a car this small amount can be problematic. This is false advertising worthy of being brought under the attention of the Ombudsman as there is no interest from Cell C to attend to this matter.
