I booked a Group D vehicle through Discover Cars, fulfilled by Locauto (Alamo) at Milan Linate, Italy. At pick-up, I was handed an Opel Corsa — a Group C vehicle, a lower category than what I paid for. When I questioned this, staff looked me in the eye and told me it was the correct car for my booking. That was a lie. I signed nothing at pick-up. The only document I signed was at drop-off in Rome, presented to me as a vehicle condition report to confirm there was no damage. Locauto is now using this document — signed after the rental was already over, for a completely different stated purpose — as supposed proof that I accepted a vehicle downgrade. I never accepted a downgrade. I was never given the opportunity to. I called customer service during the rental and was told to raise it in Rome. In Rome I was told they couldn't help and to call customer service again. Customer service then sent a dismissive form letter claiming everything was done correctly. When I pushed back with the full facts, they cited their 40 years of experience and confirmed their refusal. This is a company that gave me a cheaper car than I paid for, **** to me about it, misrepresented what I was signing, ran me in circles, and then hid behind paperwork. I am now escalating to Discover Cars, the European Consumer Centre, the Italian Antitrust Authority (AGCM), and my credit card provider.
Absolute nightmare with terrible customer support. They listed a booking that should have been removed as requested by owners multiple times. The booking was confirmed, payment processed. When I arrived the owners were unaware and said they had requested multiple times to remove the listing and that they had not confirmed the stay. It has now taken two week to get resolution. They offered a measly $68 refund, even though I had hundreds of dollars additional payment to get another hotel when arriving. I made the booking three months in advance and the prices shot up. This company does not stand behind their service. It is also impossible to actually speak to someone. Customer support is pathetic, 24 hours for a message reply and without any direction or clarity. This is not how I want to spend my time off, sorting out booking.com ***** ups.
I made a booking months in advance. The bookings was confirmed and charged in full. When arriving, the owners had no idea about the booking. They said they had requested multiple times for the listing to be removed. Booking.com confirmed and charged for the booking without the owners notice. I had to pay hundreds of dollars extra to get a tiny hotel upon arrival. No response from booking.com for two days. Still no refund. My whole trip and experience with booking.com was a total nightmare. Can't call them, they don't respond to messages on the app and you can't reply to their emails. Never again will I use this platform, they will drop you and don't even attempt to make things right.
Standard Bank's security is a joke. The account that money was taken from is solely used to repay my home loan. The card has never been out of a drawer in my house and it has NEVER been used for any other transactions. This is 100% a security breach, guaranteed. Hours on the phone and still waiting for a response a week later. Another deduction from my account after the ***** case was logged. I have bills to pay. Standard Bank has allowed money to be ****** from my bank account. The customer service is absolutely horrible and I am supposed to have a private banker. I urge all to move away from Standard bank, it is only a matter of time until money vanishes from your bank account.
I accepted a free two week trial on Bumble. Immediately after accepting this, I was billed for a three month subscription which is very expensive. I contacted Bumble and they stated that there was an issue on their side and that the free two week trial was not accepted by Apple perhaps because of a different profile on the same account that had already used the free trial. After this Apple billed me for a three month trial without me ever opting or accepting the charges. Apple will not refund me and the only feedback from them after contacting them many times is that it does not meet the requirements for a refund according to their terms and conditions. This is absolute fraud!
I purchased two ebook manuals from Fordmanuals.com. I am not able to open either of the purchases. I have sent multiple emails to sales@fordmanuals.com without any response. The first ebook is corrupted and cannot be opened. The owner guard software won't work correctly on iOS and therefore both purchases are useless to me. I would like a refund for these manuals as they can't be opened but I get no response from fordmanuals.com
Terrible product, terrible service. If you have a Mac you can not open or view your purchase. To open the ebook that I paid $16.95 for, you have to download and install a program called PdfOwnerGuard. This program crashes upon installation on a Mac (have tried three different laptops) and iPhones and therefore the purchase is totally useless. I tried contacting customer service and they have completely ignored me for three months now.
