We had the worst experience at Standard Bank birchacres mall on the 8th February. When we walked into the bank we spoke to Siphiwe Mdakane who had the worst attitude, she didn't make eye contact when speaking to customers, she was absolutely rude when responding and was quick to dismiss customers so that they could just leave the bank without being assisted. I went there to enquire about opening an account but left without being assisted and I have now seen that switching to standard bank would be shooting myself in the foot after the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received. One lady who was pregnant was made to stand for a long time in a long queue until she experienced dizzy spells and still was made to feel small when she asked for a chair. Another gentleman came in to ask for a loan and as Siphiwe Mdakane looked at his pay slip she shouted out with sarcasm how low his salary was and there was no way Standard bank would ever approve his loan request. STANDARD BANK, PLEASE HELP IN ADDRESSING HER BEHAVIOR BECAUSE SHE CERTAINLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THE COMPANY WELL.
I am very unsatisfied with FNB regarding their admin. I had temporary loan with them in July and paid the loan in full in July 2018 already however, on my credit bureau profile it still shows as the account owing 6 months later! I have tried to contact FNB but you hold for several minutes on end! This has had a negative impact on my credit scoring. For a bank that I once trusted, FNB has let me down.
