My mother ordered shoes from MSH for my birthday. I'd wanted these shoes for ages. In fact I DM'd MSH months and months ago about them being restocked and got no reply. My mother ordered a size 5, because their website states their sizes are standard SA sizes. She received one size 6 and one size 7 shoe. Neither fit, and are both far too small (So, not standard size) I've emailed MSH thrice in the past 2 weeks, sent countless DMs via their Instagram page (no other contact details are publicly available) to ask for an exchange. I hate having to write a review like this, particularly because I believe in supporting local. But, unfortunately, I have received no replies to my emails nor a helpful resolution via DM over Instagram, just promises of contact being made. I am a Healthcare worker slogging through a Pandemic, so I am often only able to contact them after hours, to which I get passive aggressive replies, and no resolution emailed to me during working hours. I don't have the time to run around after a business who has sent me the incorrect product, yet has the time to post on Instagram, answer post comments, etc. I want the product that I was advertised would fit me and I paid for or my money back, is that so difficult to get right?
My phone was stolen on 16 December 2018. On December 17th I decided to order a new phone (quite a financial strain considering it was December and I hadn't anticipated forking out thousands for a new phone) I decided to go with a Xiaomi phone. It had been recommended to me, as the brand is new to South Africa, prices are good but it offers similar specs to other better known smart phones. I paid for a Redmi S2 64gig, paid almost R4000, and was promised a 7-10 business day wait. I have now waited exactly 29 business days and 1 and a half months over all. It had been a constant struggle to get answers out of the Xiaomi South Africa branch. First they made excuses about all the public holidays around Christmas (understandable), then they didn't have the colour I wanted, then I had to settle for a 32gig version and awaited a repayment (a R200 payfast notification came to my email but never reflected in my account), I queried the R200, and why so little paid back for half the gigs? No explanation. One can buy a Redmi S2 on Takealot for R2900. I requested the 64gig in another colour about three weeks ago and I was told this request was far too much, as they had put the order through for the 32gig. I was inconveniencing them...(?!) I still have no phone, Parcel Ninja has made no contact as to delivery (probably indicating the phone hasn't even arrived in SA yet), my emails and calls are flat-out ignored. I would not recommend anyone use the Mi Phones service, unless you've got time and money to waste. This is a review of their appalling service and delivery of a product, not the product itself.
