These guys tried to keep our money last summer when we ordered a heat pump for the pool they had installed. There were lots of excuses that Lola had accidentally sold the heat pump to the wrong person (when Erik was out with Covid) and that they needed to wait for a new shipment. After a number of run-arounds, we finally managed to get the heat pump. Today, however, I sit with a pool that they installed which has multiple leaks. Since Erik is nowhere to be found, I have a pool repair company here which has removed the panels to show what a shotty job was done underneath. The shortcuts and angles that were taken have caused vibrations that have in time caused these leaks. They didn't even use proper sealants! I doubt Good Vibes Living will be rearing its head again, but I would avoid the owners as well!
I have been relatively happy with Me&You over the past 5 years after switching to them upon realising that another provider was stealing my data, but things have taken a downward turn recently. Previously, Me&You debited my credit card for my monthly payments, and all was fine and working as expected. A few months ago, their systems went haywire, and the direct debits no longer come off. I've called them and begged for someone who can look into this. They keep telling me it's right on their end and to see what happens the next month. The next month comes, and the story repeats itself. My credit card is loaded properly on their system from what they can see and from what I can see. The credit card number hasn't even changed! To make matters worse, I don't receive any kind of notification that the payment didn't go off until I am two months in arrears at which point they start threatening to soft lock my SIMs. They actually did soft lock my SIMs once, and it took a whole weekend to get them unlocked. If you chat to their online chat team (usually Shiven), it's about as useful as talking to a brick wall. Shiven will tell you she's looking into something, and you can wait hours ****erally), and she will just ignore you when you ask her how she's progressing! 5 years with this company and they treat me as though I'm a number - which I guess I am just a phone number! I've referred other clients to them who had such horrific on-boarding experiences (getting their numbers ported over etc) that I felt bad for making the referral! What a terrible way to let a company fall into uselessness! And nobody there cares what you think - as you can see from their inability to improve things despite all of the negative reviews here on HelloPeter!
I had to order a new credit card from my bank as mine was unfortunately lost. When the new credit card was initially ordered, I received a message saying that I could schedule the delivery on the banking app; however, I kept receiving error messages. Then I received an SMS from CCD indicating that they would deliver on Thursday, 24 January between 8 am and 4 pm. I ended up being ill on the delivery day, so I didn't come to the office. I called CCD from 8 am to 8:15 am on the Thursday morning, and their phones were still not being attended to until after 8:15 despite them opening at 8. When I finally got in touch with them, I told them that I needed to reschedule the delivery for Monday. Despite this reschedule, the courier still came to my office as my Receptionist called me at 11:52 am saying that they were in the lobby!! For the Monday delivery, I carried my phone with me everywhere I went as they were going to deliver between 8 am and 4 pm. At 3:37 pm, I received an SMS stating that "CCD are experiencing delays, we apologize for the inconvenience. An agent will contact you soonest. Or contact CCD on: ********** 137 Ref ***". So, I concluded that I would not be receiving my card that day. Then, at 8:02 pm on the same night, I received another SMS stating that "CCD Couriers were not able to deliver your Private Clients Card due to your unavailability. Call ********** 028 With Ref *** to re-schedule. Delivery fees may apply". Obviously, I was quite upset since I was waiting for them at my office the entire day. In fact, I was in office until 6:15 pm that day. On Tuesday, I phoned them to reschedule, and they tell me that they can't reschedule it because I've now missed their delivery twice!! They claim that someone called me Monday, though my phone never rang, and the Receptionist never saw anyone from CCD asking for me. I told them that this was unacceptable, and they told me it would be escalated. I then picked up the phone to my bank, and told them to intervene and rather have the card sent to the branch. The next thing I know, I get a call from CCD to reschedule delivery for Friday, 1 February. On Friday, at 2:30 pm, when I hadn't heard from them, I called them to ask if the courier was still coming. They told me they would contact the driver and call me back. When they called back, they assured me that he was on his way and that he would arrive just after 3 pm (I told them that I wanted to try and leave the office at 3 to miss traffic). I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes and then received an SMS at 3:41 pm stating that "CCD are experiencing delays, we apologize for the inconvenience. An agent will contact you soonest. Or contact CCD on ********** 137 Ref ***". I then phoned them and continually got disconnected as they were experiencing phone troubles. I finally spoke long enough to someone to ask them to call me back on a stable line. When they called back, they told me that they were going to try and get hold of the driver and call me back again. They managed to reach the driver at 4:15 pm, and he indicated the he was on the way back to their offices (without having delivered by card)! I was furious and explained the entire saga to the guy on the phone. He said he would escalate it and have a supervisor call me. I then sat in nearly 2 hours of traffic getting home! On Monday morning, I spoke to my bank again and insisted that the card be delivered to the branch. It was delivered on Tuesday, and I waited nearly an hour in the queue at the branch to get the card. I have wasted so much time of my life and still have not heard anything from a supervisor at CCD!!
