On 02/11/2020 we bought a Sinotec smart tv from Makro , Inv.31 . On 01/05/2021 the television stopped working . We contacted the Makro call centre and were given a ref.no.1544314 . Eventually , on 06/05/2021we received a job no.539206 . A Sinotec technician came and fitted what looked to me like reconditioned pc board , on the 08/05/2021 . On the 23/05/2021 the tv stopped working again . Seems as if it's the same problem . Makro service centre was again contacted and ref.no.1583101 was given . We were told by a Zanele that our problem would be escalated . On the 26/05/2021 we again contacted the service centre and were told they were short staffed . On friday 28/05/2021 we again contacted Makro Service Centre and spoke to Luvo who informed us that our problem had not even been handed over the thier workshop . Luvo promised to escalate the problem and get back to us before the end of the day . We are still waiting for his call . This is pathetic service . It seems like Makro is very quick to take money but don't honour the promises .
On Monday 15th April 2019 I phoned Floors Direct in Alberton . I spoke to the "Manager" whose name is Rodgers . I complained that I had discovered a lump under the floors that had been laid in August 2018 . I had moved furniture and discovered it . It felt like a tool of some sort that had been left behind . Rodgers asked that the Invoice be emailed to him which was done immediately . It wasn't long thereafter and an email response was received from him informing that he would come and have a look the next day at 15:00 . At 16:00 the next day I phoned Rodgers as I hadn't heard from him . All he said was ooooo , he'd be at my home at 17:00 . He eventually arrived and had a look . Admitting it was Floors Direct problem he said he would be at my home to repair on Thursday 18th April at just after 12:00 . It is now 15:30 and I haven't heard anything and the phones are not being answered . This Rodgers obviously hasn't had the correct training to be a manager .
