people don,t try to get material from this company,s branch in Alberton we tried to get tile to tile joiners with no luck at all They do have the universal one but not the standard ones, not even an additional color NO choice at all Now we can see why companies goes down and Corona is not to blame You have to go next door to CTM to buy which is not the experts in laminated flooring but at least you can get at excessive prices

On Monday 15th April 2019 I phoned Floors Direct in Alberton . I spoke to the "Manager" whose name is Rodgers . I complained that I had discovered a lump under the floors that had been laid in August 2018 . I had moved furniture and discovered it . It felt like a tool of some sort that had been left behind . Rodgers asked that the Invoice be emailed to him which was done immediately . It wasn't long thereafter and an email response was received from him informing that he would come and have a look the next day at 15:00 . At 16:00 the next day I phoned Rodgers as I hadn't heard from him . All he said was ooooo , he'd be at my home at 17:00 . He eventually arrived and had a look . Admitting it was Floors Direct problem he said he would be at my home to repair on Thursday 18th April at just after 12:00 . It is now 15:30 and I haven't heard anything and the phones are not being answered . This Rodgers obviously hasn't had the correct training to be a manager .

Floors Direct, Strubens Valley team are to be congratulated on their service delivery. They were friendly , professional, knew their product , kept their promises re delivery times and fitting of flooring. Thabo Marota (salesman ) was most helpful and did his job professionally in selling the product, arrived at our house to give a quote as arranged. Elias and his fitting crew arrived on time, were professional, laying the flooring in good time , finishing the job quietly and properly. I strongly recommend Floors Direct , Strubens Valley.

Floors Direct, Strubens Valley team are to be congratulated on their service delivery. They were friendly , professional, knew their product , kept their promises re delivery times and fitting of flooring. Thabo Marota (salesman ) was most helpful and did his job professionally in selling the product, arrived at our house to give a quote as arranged. Anyone Who was thinking of buying laminated floors from floor direct in new marked RD north riding please do not their service is shocking ; the is no sense of regency with regards to collections and refunds and you will never find a manager to assist on weekends. The only thing you get is to be inconvenienced by being told that you can only do any refunds when a manager is available on Monday; One would have thought that a manager should be available at any given time in a retail environment to assist with queries and make customers lives easier but not in that branch. I mean in this economic times one can not afford to drive up and dawn due to someone’s incompetency in running a business. Who ever is responsible for running that branch needs to improve the level of customer service as it is shocking; people do not shop because the store looks great but because they get assistance in whatever queries they have.what happened to the slogan customer is king and is always right?

VERY poor service and workmanship. They make you pay up front, then THEY sub-contract the fitting so there is no recourse or resolve. Great sales assistance, but terrible experience after that. Sent onto Macneil head office management with photos and still no interest in repairing their terrible work. Great product, but really BAD service and installation. Stuck with a POOR result they will not resolve.

I've had a terrible experience from the start with Floors Direct. Worst attitude from Christopher (Sales) and Management have not made any efforts in repairing the issues we have with poor workmanship. They will promise to repair but they don't. They don't do their own installations. They use subcontractors that don't know what they are doing. They rushed my job and messed up the floors so badly. They didn't stick down the floors properly before skirtings and then the floors were lifting and bubling. Then they remove and damage the skirtings to stick down the floors and put the damaged skirtings back! They cannot cut a straight line so the finish is horrible and the floors don't line up from the one room to the next. They refuse to meet me on site when convenient for me to discuss the problems. Beware!!! they charge you 100% upfront, so you have no recourse whatsoever!!!! Today, their phone numbers are not available! They don't respond to emails and messages!!

Extremely unpleasant, walked into Greenstone branch , hardly greeted by employee behind the counter , looked around and not once was asked if we needed help, stood there for a while still no response , so on exciting i explained to him that maybe if he helped customers walking into his shop it may not be as quiet and sales may go up , to which he promptly started shouting and giving attitude that we should have asked and he is alone etc etc etc .... gone are the days where the customer is right and salesman /managers wanted to get sales figures up in their stores.. seems like there is just no pride in ones jobs anymore
