Sage Business Cloud Accounting has been an absolute nightmare. For six months (since September 2024), we have been unable to create sales orders due to a gateway timeout that crashes the entire system. I have reported this at least 30 times via email and even more on telephone calls, yet all I get is the same useless response: "Clear your cache" or "Our developers are working on it." This basic feature failure has completely wrecked our stock management and caused massive problems for both us and our customers. Stock accuracy is a joke, and on the rare occasion we do manage to create a sales order, it takes up to two hours—on a 1Gbps fiber line, no less! This is beyond unacceptable. For a company of Sage’s size, this level of incompetence is shocking. If you’re looking for reliable accounting software to grow your business, stay far away from this product. Features advertised simply do not work. Sales orders are a critical function for stock-based businesses, and without them, this software is completely useless. To make things worse, I have repeatedly requested a call from a senior manager, and I’ve been completely ignored. The lack of accountability and customer service is disgraceful. I am beyond fed up and furious.

The day that Fibrestream cut ties with Vumatel, They also cut my services. It was a unexpected and in the middle of the month. I had paid in advance for the next month via scheduled payment, as their billing and accounts are very bad and you never knew where you were standing with them. So I made sure they wont disconnect me as they would do that sometimes. It took 3 days for them to answer the phone back then, and I actually stay in Alberton and went to their offices and found several other people there. I sat in their boardroom and they told me some untrue story and was only interested to move me to another line supplier - however I couldnt as Vuma was the only operator in the area. After a big fight, they promised to repay my money that was paid in advance plus the unused portion of the existing month. I later found out they were cut off from Vumatel as they did not pay their bills. This is a very bad company to work with. they never tell the truth and to this day my R1199 for the month of June 2021, and Vumatel cut them on or around 22 June 2021. I was in their office and they promised to refund me within 24 hours.
I’ve really been struggling with Chromagen agents here in South Africa. They have serviced my chromagen solar geyser in November 2018 and it is still faulty. I have to beg them to come back after they received my money as worksmanship is poor and the collector is still leaking. They gave me a 3 month warranty on work which was done in November and geyser is still not heating up. Now they arrive at my premises and ask for more money before they even start. How is that even right? The job was not even done correctly the first time. What is the point of the warranty then if you cannot actually give a warranty. It is a money making racket. I have correspondence between myself and installer as well as voice recordings between myself and Max of all calls to confirm the level of poor service I received. Especially the shouting and bad attitude from both of them - the installer Ettienne. I record all my cellphone calls, all of them especially for situations like this. I advise you that you should be carefull to use these people. All they care about is the money and dont care about customer service or if the product works or not. Pay first then get no service I am going to report them to the solar authorities in RSA for bad worksmanship and poor warranty levels - but the thing is I have no recourse as they are not registered solar installers from my research after this matter. Chromagen was supposed to be leading geyser brand - But this is a super disappointment.
