I'm not usually one to do this but I am highly frustrated. I submitted a claim for a damaged iPhone 11 to my insurers who were great, and approved my claim by authorising a replacement of it. They advised that Phonefast would contact me regarding paying my excess, and the delivery of my phone (which should take one day after payment). I paid the excess amount of Wednesday, was advised of receipt of payment on Thursday and that my phone would be sent out that morning. It has been a week, of calling everyday with a different excuse, insurance has not authorised, they can't reach my insurance etc. I was promised delivery today after all miscommunications had been cleared up and yet again, no phone has been delivered. I have not been able to do work for 3 weeks!! If you're being told to use Phone Fast for your new phone or replacement by your insurance- don't do it.
I am actually going to make it my personal mission to ensure that I let as many people I know about how incredibly terrible this service is. I sent a parcel on overnight courier 2days ago. It was not delivered the morning after (as promised), I spent the whole evening and morning trying to reach the jhb & pta office but nobody would answer. I was finally assisted by some one in the jhb office who informed me my parcel was out on delivery and should reach the person by noon. My brother then calls me 40 min later to say a third party company called him to say they will only deliver tomorrow (day3). How does this make any sense?
