Double transactions taken off due to error on their app. No one cares. Its so hard to speak to someone after being transferred and explaining a million times. According to them its all my fault for doing the transaction twice because of a glitch on the app. Point of the matter is that money I urgently need is no longer in my account and I now have to go through all the processes and BS. MAYBE I'll get a call tomorrow but I'm told they also cant reverse the transaction. Not only that, I cant even get a POP for BOTH transactions. I must contact the recipient who is a big company that's even harder to get service than standard bank. Im slowly moving away from standard bank. I've even switched my salary. These guys can go hang!
DSTV stream hasn't been working for months. I've been trying to get the issue resolved, but can't get anyone competent to help. It's so frustrating, back and forth, being messed around. Explaining myself a million times to different consultants. Yet time to take your money, they are very alert and helpful. I'm just donating money to these guys.

I’ve been a loyal customer and advocate of the brand for almost 20 years. Dealing with Pearl.Molete@standardbank.co.za has made me want to run away like a bat out of hell. If this is the level of incompetence and entitlement I have to deal with when I bank. The time has come when Standard Bank is no longer moving me forward. I advise anyone looking for a new bank to steer clear of Standard Bank. Try out Nedbank - I hear they make things happen!
Ive spent the day talking to over 10 different consultants on live chat via the website. Ive spent a small fortune speaking to equally incompetent individuals in the contact centre over phone. No one can help me. I have missing channels on my Apple TV DSTV app. Ive experienced this problem before some time back when i set up my first Apple TV and it was resolved quite quickly. Not sure whats changed at DSTV, the consultants didn't even know what an Apple TV is. I don't know who else to turn to. Everyone just passes the buck to the next person who i have to explain my story to again and get no help. I am beyond frustrated and annoyed with DSTV.
Absolute junk! Rubbish rubbish rubbish! The most uncomfortable shoes on earth! No refunds so I’m stuck with even more of their rubbish ? dress shoes were too uncomfortable changed them for two other more casual pairs. Still junk! The ownership and management are so arrogant and condescending. A business I would be very happy to see closed.
