Unacceptable service from a company who values great people, customer, customer, customer, integrity, honesty and fairness just to name a few! I have been a loyal paying customer of Discovery for years, banking with them, medical aid, life insurance, retirement annuities etc and this is the service I received from them recently. On Thursday 4 November 2021 I reported our dishwasher was broken, Discovery phoned me the same day saying they will send out a technician to do an assessment, the technician came and said he would send a rapport to Discovery explaining what the problem was. On Monday I woke up to a flooded kitchen (because of the Dishwasher) and the water damaged my brand new installed kitchen cupboards, I contacted the technician immediately as I did not hear a word from Discovery since the 4the of November, the technician said that he sent the rapport, turns out he did not and Discovery was waiting for it (Discovery did not even bother to follow up with the technician) and so I had to phone and send numerous emails asking what is going on and if I could get some feedback! On Monday night I received a SMS saying the assessment was complete! Unfortunately I still have had NO feedback from Discovery, after contacting our broker he eventually let me know on Thursday that the claim has been unsuccessful due to wear and tear! I still have not received the so called rapport from Discovery, nor an email or a phone call! The technician said he told Discovery over the phone what the problem was - really Discovery? Furthermore, I have no problem in the claim being denied but pick up the phone and call your customers giving them valid reasons for the refusal of the claim! Its disgusting that its 11 days later and I have had nobody phone me! If this is the service I receive from you regarding something so small what can I expect in future! Sort it out Discovery and treat your customers with some respect!
WORST EXPERIENCE! Placed an order for a desk, paid for it in FULL! Even got an email saying that it is out for delivery and nothing! The website has been closed down, their Facebook page deleted and no answer on emails or whatsapp! Their workshop and showroom is also closed! Do NOT USE this company for anything! I have sent multiple emails to their business and personal emails requesting a refund but I am still waiting for a response!
Discovery DQ Track, I have been a loyal client of Discovery for many years. My medical aid, RA, life insurance, house hold insurance and car insurance is with Discovery. However, I have had massive problems with Discovery insure since last year November, their service has been shocking! My DQ track has stopped updating on 17 November 2018. After numerous phone calls, and holding for as long as 20 minutes at a time I am still sitting with the same problem! The DQ track has been replaced but still it is not updating! No surprise there! After yet another phone call to Discovery they informed me once again that its a problem with their “system”, what I dont understand is that my husband has a DQ track and his is just updating fine, so how is it a “system” problem?! They have promised me they will escalate it and phone me back, well that never happened either! I am sick and tired of your excuses Discovery! I am paying for a service and I expect that service, no excuses! I want an explanation or better fix your ****! Or else I will be moving ALL of my insurance to someone else!
