Hi My name is Brendan Coetzer. I got injured in a rugby match Saturday 10 August 2024. Before going to St Georges hospital we phoned to find out would tests be done if we go there now, because we are from Bushmansriver (130km away from Port Elizabeth). They said we must come through and scans and xrays will be done and if a surgery is necessary we will stay over and operation will be arranged for. We arrived at around 18:20 and only had a checkup at around 20:00. The nurse that did the checkup said she spoke to the doctor even if I have a torn ligament the surgeon will only see me on Monday. We only saw the doctor at around 22:45 where he sent me for a xray and said that they do not do any scans over weekends and I would have to come in next week somewhere to see if I have a torn ligament in my knee. We left the hospital around 00:00 with nothing at all. 80% of the people that was there complained about the pour service on Saturday with some people even leaving the hospital. There was an old man that came in around 16:00 and was only told around 22:00 that his arm was broken on two places. They made no effort with making him comfortable and he was sitting in a wheelchair and sleeping. This was by far the worst service I received from a private hospital. This is the type of things you see in State hospitals. Regards Brendan Coetzer
Trying to phone the number for 3days now with no answer. Being billed on my account for something I never signed up for since Nov. Anyone have details to call
Worst service EVER! Trying to sort out a problem since January we are in May now, more than 50 logged calls from me to them and about R2000 airtime. Nothing sorted out and have to phone every 3 to 5 days to reconnect my service because of them putting me on the wrong Internet package.
Im struggling a year and a halve now to process my retrenchment insurance claim. From the beginning there was stories and struggled to submit it via email. After that I never heard from capitec again untill 6months later when they called me to say im not paying my loan. I explained that I was retreched and sent them the documents, but according to them they never received it. July 2018 I sent the same documents through Sadler that they appointed to follow me up and I got a message saying that. The documents was received I would receive an outcome with in 7 days. Its 8 months now and no outcome. Then after Sadler left the case because of me sending them the documents, November December DMC started phoning me saying my account was handed over to them for collection to make arrangements for payment. I explained to them Im not going to because I had cover and did everything according to the policy set out by Capitec. The fault is not on my side. Then again I phoned Capitec for the last week now and the one department only transfers me to the next and no one knows who is responsible. This thing must get sorted out very urgently Ive been way to calm for too long and its on my credit record now. Worst experience ever from a bank
