Firstly it's important to clarify that I'm not an easy client to please. I believe in "credit where credit is due" and calling out Bull when I see it. To keep this as brief as I possibly can, I signed up with CellC C Fibre in Dec 2018 with a Fibre Specialist By the name of Lillian Rakobela. Unfortunately at the time openserve had not yet activated fibre in my area even though it was installed. Ms Rakobela made it a priority to keep me in the loop regarding the application process from the start, and I received communication from her atleast every 3 days. Fast forward to Feb 2019 and I get a call from her telling me that openserve have activated the fibre in my area and the order is already in for the Installation to my home. Not even a week goes by and I was installed. The day Ms Rakobela came to configure the router there was a slight issue with the connection.she refused to leave the job half done and insisted on staying and ensuring that my connection was up and running before she left. This took almost 2 hours. Unfortunately the next day I was one of the many people who were affected with an outage that lasted the better part of 5 days. I contacted her explaining the situation and asked her for her help. She took it upon herself to contact the technical department and query what was the issue even though she was not obligated to and could have easily told me to contact them myself. That's not even the amazing part! The amazing part is that she called me DAILY with updates and kept apologizing as if it were her fault that the connection was down! She even called me on Sunday to update me! If that's not dedication and customer service at its best I don't know what is! Anyways the techs managed to isolate and sort out the issue today, and low and behold I got a call from her to inform me that all should be fine and I can connect again. This lady deserves a promotion ,and if not ,in the very least a performance bonus! She could teach the customer relations department a thing or 2 about customer relations!! Lillian, if you ever come across this post, please know that your outstanding service and extremely pleasant manner in dealing with clients means a lot to us! For anyone in the JHB region that requires a C Fibre Installation, if possible request Lillian Rakobela to do it! You won't be disappointed! Kind regards, Moe
