After recently painting my home with 2 colours of weatherguard and 3 coats of each, the one colour left terrible streak marks after a short rainfall (the other was 100% fine). After complaining to my builder who did the painting and to Dulux locally in Cape Town - they sent a representative to check it. She took a lot of pictures, measured the walls for moisture, poured water on the walls, etc. After a number of further questions regarding my water proofing, etc) - which were unhelpful as walls without the water proofing and walls with it had the same issue, and those with the other colour are all 100%. The solution: wait 3 months and it should go.... wash the walls down then and it should be fine. I then tried to contact Dulux customer service - good luck if you try that. No response. Very poor.
After numerous attempts to get resolution, i write to you out of frustration. 2 weeks ago i applied for a 20M adsl line and requested that telkom not be my service provider, but just the provider of the line. unfortunately there was a mix up and the operator included the line, the data and the ISP from telkom. as soon as the line was installed last week (this happened efficiently), i realised what had happened and requested the cancellation of the internet and data immediately. i was told that this would be done within 48 hours and then the line could be released into the holding pool for my isp to take it on. At the moment billing is telling they cannot act without sales having the order cancelled and sales are telling me this could take up to another 2 weeks (all for a service that has never been used - what could possibly require 2 weeks - there are no billing issues, etc). This has become urgent as i need the services for some critical work.
