Made a booking for this weekend (Valentine's Day, 14 February 2025) back in October 2024 and management now informs me that my 3 course dinner is no longer available. Check out how they are trying to get additional moneys to now have dinner included in the booking. "Dear Mr van der Walt I hope this message finds you well. Please note that the ONLY dinner option we have available is our special Valentines buffet dining at R1990.00 per couple. In room dining and a la carte will NOT be available to order on the 14th of February as it is a special event. Since you have dinner inclusive in your rate, there will be an additional charge of R1130 for the buffet option. Kindly confirm if we can book a table for you or will you have alternative dinner arrangements."
I noticed the margin on partner invoices dropped by half from the 1st of July 2020. I made a call to the call centre and the Troy Jones enlightened me that they introduced a new partner program in July [within the COVID lockdown] whereby if I don't have a certain quarterly spend, my margin will be cut to, according to 4DI, to a competitive 10% margin. I am a registered partner since 2007 and 4DI decided to introduce this new partner program within the COVID lockdown. Long story short, terrible, non-transparent communication, considering moving customers to another solution.
Tried to make contact with Mohamed Bhayla but to no available. Asked for a quick payment of R 2500.00 for a customised cell number, but it's been almost 2 weeks and can't get hold of him. Watch out as soon as you pay he basically ditched me. I initially paid R 2000, but then soon thereafter asked for an additional R 500.00 as he said he is "in trouble".
