I have been dealing with Lee-Roy Lindt from the Efficient Insure offices in George. I have only ever experienced super efficient, fast, and friendly service from him since joining them in June 2023 .
I had a third party claim for an accident caused by another person. He submitted a claim and I was contacted by Maurisha Pikaan from Santam requesting information from me in respect of the claim. Her service was wonderful, friendly, prompt, and efficient. It was a pleasure dealing with her.
I contacted Virseker to cancel a value added policy with them. My call was answered by Etitia Abdull, who was very friendly. She asked what my needs were and when I informed her, she first requested whether I was satisfied with my Short Term Ins with them. I informed her that I was retiring on 31/5/2023 and that I was looking around for short term insurance that was more affordable. She then immediately went into my profile and informed me that she would see what she could to to make it more affordable. She then informed me that they would be able to reduce my installment by a good amount, which is within my budget, and I opted to keep my insurance with them.
I have been with Dotsure for my pet insurance for a couple of years now. I have never before experienced such efficient and friendly service before. Everytime I had a claim, I was reimbursed the same day, even though they tell you to expect the payment in a couple of days. This is the type of service I value and they will forever have my support and I also promote them to my family and friends.
I was involved in a vehicle accident on 14/12/18 and was fortunate to have the option of a rental for a month. Unfortunately, it was also the weekend before businesses closed for the December holidays, so I was aware that I would have to wait more than a month for my vehicle to be repaired. To my horror, when Auto Body Works ordered my parts in January 2019, they informed me that I had to wait a month and a half for them. ETA was 14/2/19. I received updates regularly and was informed that the ETA was brought forward to 4/2/19. I was thrilled. When I followed up on 5/2/19, I was informed that the main part was faulty and ETA was now 18/2/19. I requested a courtesy car, as I needed a car for business purposes and was informed that there was a long waiting list. After I pleaded with them, they gave me a car after a week. I informed Auto Body Works on 5/3/19 that I was getting impatient and needed my car. I travel for business and was going to Mt Frere from Port Elizabeth on 10/3/19, and did not feel comfortable driving the courtesy car. I was informed that my car would be ready by 8/3/19 pending inspection and quality checks. I phoned them on the morning of 8/3/19 to find out whether my car was ready, only to be informed that it was still in the queue waiting to be inspected and that I should have it by late afternoon. By 15h30 I could not wait anymore, as they were closing at 16h45 and did not work on Saturdays. I was informed that the car was now ready, but they still had to take photos, which had to be sent to Discovery for clearance, before they could release the car. They told me they would do their best. By 16h30 I was informed that I would not be getting my car, as they had not yet sent the photos to Discovery, and even if they did it then, Discovery would not get back to them in time. Waiting 2 months for my car is unacceptable (I did not count December as they cannot be held responsible for the period the accident took place in). They really did not do anything to try to assist me and I would not recommend them to anybody else.
