I booked a room on the 18th of January on airbnb which was then cancelled on the 3rd of February when I was sipp to check in on the 5th of February. Reason for cancellation was a leaking pipe in the room I booked. I booked another room via bookings.com aim the 5th and the booking was approved. Once I got to the hotel I was told that ALL rooms (including the room which supposedly had leaking pipes) were fully booked. It was the mining indaba weekend and all hotels around the area were booked or the price had tripled since I booked on the 18th. The blackbrick kicked us out (myself and another customer) into the street telling us that there is nothing they can do. All the while it was their disception very poor business acumen including their gross disregard for customer service that cause all thia. The agent in charge of bookings Melany was very disrespectful and the manager did not even come to talk to us.
Appalling service in all departments. I was due for an upgrade for my data contract on the 1st of July. The consultant who called me on the 30th of June upgraded my contract to a home internet contract. Canceling the contract and requesting for a new upgrade to a different plan was such a mission; 3 weeks later and the data plan contract fee was debited from my account after I had made several calls on different days to cancel all existing contracts and upgrades under my name. I then decided to go for a wifi contract which is also proving to be an uphill battle. I recieved the ****le with the router 3 days ago with an unregistered Sim card which no one seems to know how to fix. I have been talking to customer care agents for almost 2 hours each day to have this sorted out but here I am still data less. Very pathetic systems in place to check processes.
