Refused to open account because I’m not a citizen yet
According to their customer support center ( Ntokozo Mzobe) you cannot signup or open an account if you use a passport. Never thought a company like Rain would stereotype non South African citizens

hideous bad customer service Business Banker on 087 730 6020
I walked into an FNB branch at Festival mall in Kempton Park on the 19th of February 2019 to open a business account, prior to going to the FNB branch I had called to schedule an appointment with the business consultant and was instructed to bring all my company documents, FICA & ID which I did. I was then told that my business account has been successfully opened and I need to make a deposit which I did of three thousand (R3000) then I left. After a couple of transactions with the newly opened account, 8 days later on the 27th of February, a hold was placed on the account and also received an SMS requesting me to email the FICA documents which I did to my dismay. The service has been horrific, no communication, no feedback and when you call the Call center they put me on hold for over 38 minutes for four consecutive days with no solutions on hand till today 16th of April 2019 account still on hold Regards
