Finishing Touches supplies Broken and Bent Blinds.
I ordered roller blinds from Builders' Warehouse, made by a company called Finishing Touches. When the blinds arrived, it was in a totally unacceptable condition. 1. The top square channels are bent. 2. The colour ordered was mahogany, however the top and bottom channels are of a different colour to the louvres in the blinds. 3. Finishing Touches just stuck a mahogany coloured louvre with tape on top of the different coloured channel to supposedly match the colour of the louvres in the blind. This is also bent. 4. The mechanism used to lower the blinds and pull the blinds up, is hanging halfway out of the top channel in which it is supposed to be housed. I had a good look at other pre-manufactured blinds of Finshing Touches, and in all of these blinds all the colours match and the mechanisms for lifting and lowering the louvres are fitted inside the top channels.

Builder's Warehouse refuses to replace broken blinds.

The mecahism used to lower the blinds and pull the up is hanging halfway out of the top channel in which it is supposed to be housed. Builder's Warehouse is not interested to help me out by either fixing this mess, or to return my money.

Towing Nightmare
CF Towing was sent out by the insurance company to assist us with a vehicle breakdown. As it was after hours they took the car to their yard while we made an appointment early the next morning (7.30 am) with a workshop to take the car in. We informed C F Towing and they promised to take the car in immediately. A week later i phoned the workshop to find out why ti took so long, as it was a day or two at the most to fix the car. And we only have one other car to get two of us to work. The workshop never received our vehicle, but it was parked in C F Towing's yard for more than a week. It took us two days to get hold of C F Towing, as they simply would not answer their phones. Eventually after we had phoned the insurance company there was some response and the car was taken to the workshop more than a week later.

Curtains Disintegrate
We bought 7 eyelet curtains from Builders Warehouse Cape Gate. Within a month the linings of the curtains started disintegrating. There is no direct sunlight on the curtains and we have lace curtains in the windows as well for extra protection.

I bought 7 eyelet curtains made by The Fabric Agency. Literally within a month the linings of the curtains started disintegrating. There is no direct sunlight on the curtains and we have lace curtains for extra protection as well.
