I loved travelling with them. right from the minute of booking online to setting foot back in my town was an amazing experience. Very user-friendly online bookings, online boarding passes and check-ins. The most friendly efficient staff ever. I'm truly a very happy customer. I will sure be using them again
Long story short (I have email correspondence to mail you) I made a huge booking for 10 people at this hotel in February for my husband’s birthday, it was a terrible experience, they were non responsive and in the end with a phone call to them querying what was going on I got screamed at, verbally abused (foul language) and accused of not being thankful and that the staff has been nothing but good to me. I’m still wondering “how” they were good to me if when in fact I never received and communication from them. When I made this booking I spoke to the manager herself and said they must be very discreet as this is a surprise birthday weekend for my husband. He must know nothing. They then billed my husband!!! He got an email stating there was an outstanding balance! It was all paid up.! He queried with me, he suspected it was the weekend destination; however they now blew up the whole secret. 10mins after the phone call they phoned me back, stating they made a terrible mistake. They had now checked my emails and noticed that I have begged for information regarding my booking, I had my phone on speaker phone and my husband overheard all this swearing and accusations from the hotel manager Ms Faye Heuer. She apologised, stating they had made a terrible mistake, she’d now gone through my emails and immediately we got upgraded to the penthouse and a voucher was offered to us to compensate for all the inconvenience and terrible service. Last week I tried using my voucher (I only remembered the voucher no 106, I’m stating I didn't look at the contents of the voucher) I was asked the number of the voucher, I told reception it was voucher 106, the reception then checked their system saying it was Dinner Bed and Breakfast for 2 days for 2 people. I then booked and extra day (Sunday 28/4/2019) thus now wanting to spend 3 days there, they sent me an invoice stating clearly 2 free days Dinner bed and breakfast and 1 extra day dinner bed and breakfast for R1700. I have all the records on email. I paid this immediately, the following day I received a zero balance invoice (paid up), still stating dinner bed and breakfast for all 3 nights as per their system. Friday 26 we arrive, staff very friendly, we spend some time in our unit and go to the dining/bar area to have some drinks and then order dinner. At this time the receptionist runs to me calling me away back to reception and then states we cannot stay in the hotel for 3 nights for R1700. I query this with her and she says my actual printed voucher states self-catering for 2 days not Dinner bed and breakfast, she states it’s their mistake because the system shows 2 free days Dinner bed and breakfast for 2 people. This was contradicting my printed voucher. I reply saying I queried this voucher number with her telephonically and the system and herself stated this is what the voucher was (being dinner bed and breakfast) and this is how I was invoiced. 1. I was invoiced for 3 days Dinner bed and breakfast, 2 days free and 1 extra night for R1700. 2. I paid according to what they had said telephonically and via the invoice I received 3. I decided not to argue as there were other guests present and didn't want to cause a scene 4. I returned to my husband and told him what happened 5. He asked me for the invoice witch I pulled up from my email on my mobile phone 6. He approached the receptionist and showed her the invoice 7. Her reply was it was their mistake but insisted that we could not stay at the hotel for R1700 for 3 days despite the voucher. PLEASE NOTE, WE WERE NOT BOOKED INTO A SELF-CATERING UNIT, THE UNIT ONLY HAD A KETTLE AND A FRIDGE, NO STOVE AND MICROWAVE 8. He too decided not to cause any stress to the other guests present and said to her he wants his money back we're checking out 9. She replied that's fine we can go we'll get our money back on coming Monday (this is not the issue; it’s how we were treated.) 10. We packed up, checked out and left quietly This was supposed to be much needed breakaway from stress; however once again we were made out to feel like criminals and treated very badly. The fact that they admitted it was their own mistake and yet we left there feeling terrible. We left feeling horribly stressed. We drove +-90km's there in daylight and back on a very dark dangerous high accident rated road after this whole ordeal. We were treated like criminals despite the fact of them admitting it was their mistake Please help me fix this and get this out there
