After months of emailing and calling and posting on Hello Peter, only one number has been cancelled. I am still paying for another that I have never asked for or used. And still cannot get out of a contract. I really would encourage you all to be very careful when staff from Vodacom call with specials, etc. it doesn’t matter if you say yes or no - you’re roped in either way. And then have to pay to cancel a contract that you never wanted in the first place!
Before signing up with Vodacom, please be aware of this. I signed up for one number on my contract, my sons have separate contracts. I have picked up two additional numbers that I am paying for. I have gone into stores to find out what it’s about and cancel. They tell me to phone customer services and cancel. When you phone they are unable to cancel and tell me, that I have asked for these. There is no paperwork to show I have signed for them and no voice recording. Vodacom call all the time with specials: I always say not interested, thanks. I have been paying for these numbers- never used - for two years and nobody at Vodacom actually sorts this out. Beyond frustrating and actually completely *********.
COMPLETE ****. Left a matric dance group waiting for an hour on the side of the road and were uncontactable. Did not return messages etc. this after insisting payment was made in full, with written and verbal confirmation and following up repetitively. Absolutely disgusting and this company should be reported!!!!!
No connectivity for 4 days. Keep phoning and there is no idea of what the issue is or when it will be resolved. Takes 45 minutes on the phone to speak to someone in the technical service department. One person thinks it is an outage problem, another that there is a fault with the line. Desperate, desperate, desperate. Keep phoning and after waiting 45 minutes staff don’t even answer and if they do we get cut off and they don’t phone back.
Booked a six sleeper at 7k per person over Rage. There were only 4 beds and 2 couches for two boys, not even sleeper couches. Whilst I am sure it is a nightmare dealing with drunk teenagers, listening, with my own ears, to how they were spoken to, to leave etc. was in poor taste. You either want them as customers or you don’t. That is not to say that I in any way, believe that they have a right to be destructive.
Shocking online delivery service. I might as well have thrown my money in the dustbin.
My home has been tiled with the same travertine tile throughout it. I have googled the tile and it shows that it is available at certain Builders' Express and Warehouse Outlets. First, I went to Builders' Express in Craighall who told me that I should go to Builders' Warehouse in Bryanston as they sold tiles. I went there. They sent me to the tile department but there was nobody working in that department and the other staff told me they didn't know about those tiles. They said that Rivonia is a bigger branch and I should go there. I went there this morning with the exact tile. The sales consultant in the tile department measured the tile and sold me 20. I paid for them and was then told to go to collections where I waited for 45 minutes because there was nobody working in the tile despatch area. When I complained my tiles arrived and they were 6cm's smaller than the tile that I had brought to the consultant. They then took an additional 30 minutes to try and locate the tile only to tell me they didn't have it and that I should try other branches. I went to get a refund and it took another 30 minutes to find a manager to credit me and sort out the payment. All of this for nothing. I am still looking for these tiles. I have contacted Builders' Warehouse head office and am hoping they can assist me. Really it was like going to the Department of Home Affairs, absolutely frustrating with no success.
I went to Kramerville area to buy a leather couch. SHF and CB sales consultants were exceptional. I specifically wanted a couch I had seen on the Coricraft Website. There must have been 5 or 6 sales people standing and chatting at the counter. Not one person offered to help me. When I requested assistance, a lady begrudgingly came to me and pointed in the direction of the couch I wanted. She was not interested in trying to answer my questions about a corner couch and the variables in adding/subtracting a seat etc. She grunted at me and told me there were no options. Coricraft Kramerville has such a beautiful showroom but the service was nothing short of disgusting. There was no interest shown and absolutely no attempt to sell or promote their products. Such a shame.
