I wanted to upgrade my Fibre package using the cell C Portal online, but got a error message "[Code: LE0005] Invalid coordinates specified for feasibility" so I logged a support ticket using the portal. Nobody attended to my support ticket for 5 days. After which I phoned in and instead of sorting the issue wanted to sell me a new 24 month contract. I asked them to cancel my contract as I was not interested in taking up a new contract, and they refused to put me in contact with the cancelations department. I have been a customer for the last 6 years and I pay on time each month. But my current package is more expensive compared to a new package with the exact same upload and download speeds at the exact same FNO
This business uses stickers as adverti*****t, and sends someone into the streets to place stickers on peoples gates, which in turns causes damage to the gates paint when one try and remove the sticker. I spoke to Kevin an he told me he will call me back and this never happened. I followup up via Whatsapp and he told me he can not fix the damage he caused. He now even blocked my number so I can not get hold of him.
I recently upgraded my Fibre Line with Cell C as ISP, I upgraded from a 20/10 line to a 40/20 Line on the 16th of Apr 2020. At the time of 16th of April the Price for this new line was R899 p/m And now on the 7th of July 2020 they decided to increase the price to R1029 p/m. So within 3 months they decided on a price increase. Cell C did not inform me of this Price Increase in anyway. According to the Contract Terms and Conditions this may be done but then Cell C must inform me in Writing (which can include Email or SMS). No email was received nor was no SMS sent. I queried this on the 7th of July at 10h00 only to get answers of they will call me back. None of this happened and I had to call them again at 17h00. Just to hear that the person who had to call me back went home at 16h00. They eventually sent me a Price Increase letter on Facebook Messenger. The biggest joke being that it was for a letter to Frogfoot Customers and I am with Openserve This so called "price increase" seems to be looking like False advertising and fits real well with their bad customer service. I will not recommend Cell C to anyone looking to take out a contract with them
Super bad service. Applied for a fiber line. Needed to pay an upfront payment using my Credit Card to apply for getting the service. When all was installed and active I phoned numerous times to get a Debit Order in place for when the first installment needed to go off. But each time I had to hear there is nobody that can help me as all staff was on strike. Now that the first installment was due they Debited my credit card without my approval. This is as close as theft you can get. I send numerous emails and is phoning every day just top hear someone will call me back. I am still waiting for any call back. I have a reference number and call recording reference numbers where I was more than willing to get all this stuff fixed, but Cell C was not willing to help (again the excuses of being on strike). I now went so far as to cancel the Illegal Debit Order they placed on my Credit Card by phoning the Debit Order company directly. And secondly where is my invoices and statements ? How must I pay if you do not invoice me? Applying for your service was easy but your after sales support and service is non existing
