Good day I would like to write about the bad experience I had with Old Mutual earlier today. I called Old Mutual requesting a quotation for a life cover which includes death, disability and retrenchment. I was very clear on my request, as I even ask for waiting the periods on all three benefits. The consultant confirmed twice, our telephone conversation that there was no waiting period on the retrenchment cover as long as I’m employed for more than 2 years with the same employer. I even asked about the premium for all the benefits and she confirmed the amount. I requested a copy of the policy, which was sent after I requested it two times. The policy included only death and disability benefits but, not retrenchment. I called in and requested immediate cancellation and proof of cancellation which I still have not received. The Sales Manager, who was standing in for the consultants direct manager said she would follow investigate and get back to me. She called me back few minutes later; first she admitted that my request was clear in the conversation, than she tried to explain the different covers Old Mutual has, as if there was a misunderstanding or a mistake from from the consultant. The service I received from Old Mutual was Horrible.
Poor service at Audi Middelburg Hi all I would like to share bad experience with Audi Middelburg service department. I bought my Audi a3 sedan in December 2019 and it came with maintenance plan for 5years/ 100 000km which ever comes first, I am currently in the last year with 85000km on the clock. I am extremely dissatisfied with the workmanship at the workshop. It all started when the vehicle went for service, can’t remember the year, and it came back with oil leaks underneath the engine. I took it back and the feedback was that the oil leak was from the sump plug which was bad quality. The leaks continued, so I took it back and I was told it’s from the gear box. I was extremely frustrated at the point for bringing the car back more than once for the same problem as Audi was wasting my time and inconveniencing me, since I did not have a car everytime I had to bring the car in. They borrowed me a curtesy car for a few days while, they were attending to the leak from the gearbox. A few months later after the vehicle came back from the dealership I started experiencing failure on my air conditioner. I have taken the vehicle two times for the aircon since last year and now it’s not working again. I am using the vehicle everyday and I have to take leave at work everytime too get the car serviced, just to experience the same problem again few months later. Not to mention that I also took it more than once for a faulty battery, which they refused to change at first because; they said I tempered with the terminals. Anyway they ended up changing the battery because the allegations were not true. I have escalated the matter to Audi South Africa but ; I am not happy with the response, as my car is still not fixed. Lastly my vehicle came back with a dent from Audi when I took it for air conditioning repairs in March 2024. I have asked Audi Middelburg more than a month ago and Audi SA more than a week ago to Repair the dent and the air conditioning and provide me with a vehicle I can use, since the fault and negligence is on their side and I have not received help from the dealership since I have informed them about my problems. To make matter worse, the service consultant from Audi Middelburg informed me that they do not have a technician, at Audi Middelburg, who is cable of addressing the air conditioning problem but, this was never mentioned initially when the problem of the air conditioner started.
